Four Points by Sheraton Edinburgh

Meparece muy tarde el check-in a las 15:00, creo que lo suficiente sería a las 12:00 Y ya, llegar y cobrar 10£ porque suponen que vas a destrozar la habitación, pues no es que sea un trato muy favorable al cliente. Que por cierto, tres semanas después, Y AÚN NO ME LO HAN DEVUELTO! Pero una vez que queremos instalarnos, resulta que el ascensor no funciona, durante toda la estancia, me parece un servicio nefasto. Nos ponen en una cuarta planta. A la mañana siguiente, no te puedes duchar, deduzco porque no hay suficiente agua caliente para abastecer a todos los huéspedes. Las cortinas dejan pasar la luz, por lo que si eres sensible a ello, cuesta conciliar el sueño. Aún sigo esperando algo bueno, quizás la cercanía a la estación, quizás es lo que nos hizo decantarnos por este alojamiento

Que retengan unos cargos y que tres semanas después, aún no hayan sido reembolsados. Que el ascensor no funcionara, y la poca variedad en el desayuno

The Four Points Sheraton at Haymarket in Edinburgh is a great place to stay! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is awesome! The location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh!

Thankfully only one night. Room was dated, dark and gloomy. Bathroom was in need of repairs. On arrival the entrance to hotel isn’t clearly marked. We entered at the front door, but that’s the restaurant/lounge area. Reception from there isn’t clearly signed either, through a door, to dark hallway, up few stairs, through another door…. The “official” entrance is at the side of the building. Room on 3rd floor. Window looks at brick wall , no view unless in bathroom. Rudely awaken by bin men outside about 630am. No dressing table area, nowhere to dry hair seated. Tiles in shower need grouting. The breakfast. Eggs cooked to order so that’s great, but water for tea in flasks, so not boiling as it should be for tea. Would I go back? No.

Clean rooms. Really nice breakfast, good choice. Not far to walk into the centre.

Room had a cracked tile on the shower floor which could have cut someone's foot? Otherwise, pleased with room

Room was cosy and friendly staff. Great use of neighbouring hotels gym included with the stay.

Communication was difficult with hotel. We booked via booking.com and had a date change accepted. When we arrived the hotel wasn't aware of our updated booking. They did manage to find us a room although I would be interested to know what would have happened if they were fully booked- despite our booking being confirmed. Everything turned out fine in the end.
