"Good location, hotel ok."

Very central location and really friendly staff.

The hotel was incredibly hot, heating was up full blast and unnecessarily hot. Making it uncomfortable. We had a disabled room for some reason and the shower had no curtain which left the floor of the bathroom wet and slippery after showering.

"It was ok"

Breakfast was quite good, service was also good.

The rooms were very warm and there was no air conditioning available. The overall cleanliness of bathroom facilities was average.

Great location

Bathroom sink was unusually low. Tub/shower basin was unusually high. The inner sides of the tub were oddly sloped leaving very little room for comfortably/safely standing in the shower.

"Good hotel with great location but expect a little better quality for the price"

Location was fantastic and within walking distance of the magic mile, the castle and lots of pubs and restaurants. Bedroom was spacious and well laid out. Easy access to free water to refill bottles. Included breakfast was very good with a solid buffet and was not crowded. The bar was a great place to watch some late WC matches.

While the room was spacious, there was no A/C which made it quite warm even though it was only 50-60F outside. There was a tabletop fan in the closet which helped a little at night but I still needed to throw off the covers at times. The lack of air circulation most certainly contributed to some mold under the caulking around the shower. It wasn't bad enough to switch rooms but I know another guest did switch for this reason. In the end, it didn't take away from our stay in Edinburgh but the property needs to fix some of these issues for the price being charged.

"A wonderful stay in Edinburgh"

The location, beds, spacious rooms, staff and included breakfast were amazing.

At times it was difficult to control the temperature in the room. There is no air conditioning and opening the windows let in much outside noise.

Location was amazing. Great amenities. Breakfast was delicious.

Still a tight fit for a family of 4 (2 teens) in a double room. A bigger fan on a warmer than normal day would be nice as well.
