I read the reviews for this property sometime between booking and checking in. Some of the reviews were scathing and spoke of insects and mold. I almost forfeited the money and found somewhere else to stay. I'm very glad that I didn't do that and decided to stay there. This hotel does not deserve the bad reviews. I have spent several nights there in two visits staying in two different rooms. I have seen no sign of bugs or mold. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are very clean. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend for anyone looking for budget accomodations.
Great price for the room, but the AC unit rattled loudly every time it turned on, the beds were springy and uncomfortable, and the pillows were not soft at all. Other than not getting any sleep due to the before mentioned things, the staff checking in was friendly, the pool was refreshing, but could have used a good skimming.
Thomas checked us in and out. He was a pleasure to deal with!! The place is run down and badly needs an upgrade. We were extremely doin the condition for the price we paid. I would not go back.
Staff friendly and maids do a great job but this property is run down. Windows in bathroom do not close allowing humid air into room. We needed to keep it closed all the time which you had to lift the door to get it to latch. Pool area is nice but in seven days I never saw anyone cleaning it or testing the water. Poor free breakfast. Parking is in a scary lot next to hotel. Will not revisit here.
I always read reviews before booking, however, there were just as many 10/10's as bad reviews. Those 10/10's has to be family & friends. No way they are travelers. The staff was nice. The room was clean as far as i could tell, bed was fairly comfortable, but carpet is old and had a strip missing between rooms, walls were bare, smelled musty, 32" TV,. We almost left to go find another place, but decided to stay because it did appear clean. And funds were not favorable to do so. Parking area is suspect, pool looked ok. We didnt complain, because there was nothing that could be done...except leave. We didnt even shower here... Just know that this is a bare minimum motel. A solid 2 or 3/10 type review.
