Excellent location with good access to public transportation.

The price I paid for the room via Booking.com was extortionate. The price I actually paid was 10 times the actual price initially quoted on the website. I would have lost all my money if I had cancelled. Please note this was booking.com not the hotel.

We have just stayed at this lovely boutique hotel for 4 nights, all the staff are very friendly, especially the reception staff, breakfast restaurant staff and the housekeeping staff. This hotel is on the quieter Buda side of the Danube, it’s just a 5 minute walk from chain bridge and the funicular railway up to Buda Castle, if you get on tram 19 or 41 they stop almost outside the hotel entrance, the stop is called Halász Utca. The hotel has two rooms with balconies, 93 and 91, these are only bookable directly with the hotel, there is a small supplement of about 15 euros per night, definitely worth paying it, the view to the Hungarian parliament building from the balcony is amazing, we stayed in room 93 which is definitely the best, just one thing to note is is that the hotel elevator only goes to floor 8 and therefore you have to climb one flight of stairs to floor 9 where rooms 93 and 91 are situated. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quieter stay on the Buda side of the city rather than the much busier Pest side.

Das Frühstück war sehr ordentlich. Das Zimmer mit Blick auf die Donau und somit auch die Lage war umwerfend und einmalig, vor allem bei Nacht.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis empfand ich schon als gestört bei EUR 500/Nacht, wobei ich das im wesentlichen auf die Terminierung des Champions-League Finales am letzten Samstag in Budapest zurückführe.

Wir sind mit dem Auto nach Budapest gereist. Es gibt von dem Hotel ein Parkplatz. In der Garage gibt es nur für drei Autos platz. Es ist sehr eng und nach dem parken müssen die Schlüssel an der Rezeption abgegeben werden. Das Zimmer hat einen außergewöhnlich Blick auf die Donau und das Parlament. Der beste Blick ist in den Abendstunden, wenn die Sonne untergeht. Dann erleuchtet Budapest in Licht und die historischen Gebäude erscheinen wie in einem Märchen. Wir sind auf dem 7. Stock gewesen. Insgesamt hat das Hotel 8. Stockwerke. Die Höhe des Zimmers hat die Aussicht nochmal in jeder Hinsicht eindrucksvoller gemacht. Das Frühstück war für die Preisklasse gut. Die Lage ist zentral und es können alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreicht werden. Wir hatten eine Donaufahrt bei Kerzenschein mit Abendessen und Live-Musik gebucht. Diese Fahrt war von 19:45-22:15. Das war ein unvergesslicher Abend. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und die Music passte sehr gut zum essen. Das ganze bei einem Sonnenuntergang und die unglaublichen beleuchteten Sehenswürdigkeiten aus dem Fluss zu sehen war einfach ein unvergesslicher Moment.
