Concorde Hotel

My wife and I just spent the final and worse 2 nights of a 3 week European vacation at the Concorde. 4 star hotel, I think not, on less you're rating back packer Hostels. Website photos were completely misleading, and the exterior photo clearly does not show the drug users clearly visible as close as 50 ft of the entrance. Very sketchy area and extremely loud, we could hear people screaming and sirens at all hours of the night and early morning. We made sure we were back in the room before dark both nights we stayed, and mistakenly walked through a very seedy "Red Light" area, in a vain attempt to avoid some of the druggies and homeless prevalent in the area. As for the hotel, a very cramped tiny double room, no room safe, and electrical outlets were conveniently located, in fact 1 was located on the wall right next to the mattress, can you say fire hazard. Having curtains that covered the entire window, and not just the sheer drapes, May have helped deaden some of the noise from outside. Initially the size made us laugh, I know small rooms are common in Europe, but after staying in Prague, Luxembourg, and Brussels this one was disappointingly small. Being minutes from the train station was not worth it, I'd have gladly spent 20-30 Euros for a cab or Uber to be clear of the area. I couldn't even recommend this place to someone I didn't like.

The hotel is really great. The breakfast choices are not various. However, the location around frankfurt hbf is disgusting and full of drug addicts.

Absolutely disappointing experience at Concorde Hotel. During one of the days of our stay, as my family and I were walking into the breakfast area, a front desk staff member—wearing red lipstick and bangs—approached me and publicly held up a towel from our room that had hair dye on it. In front of several other guests, she opened it, questioned me loudly about the stain, and told me the towel was now “wasted.” It was humiliating and completely inappropriate. Never in my life has a hotel confronted a guest about what’s on a towel. It could have been anything—personal body fluids, for example—and to handle it so publicly was not only unprofessional but incredibly disrespectful. Additionally, the hotel is located in a very uncomfortable area—surrounded by individuals who are homeless or drinking on the street. It’s also right in the middle of the red-light district, something that was not mentioned anywhere in the hotel description. This is not a kid-friendly location, and I would have never booked here had I known. I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone expecting a respectful, professional, or safe environment.

The service was good the hotel very clean .noise insalltion was poor to much nois from the road .. i coudnt sleep well .

This is a very nice hotel very close to the Frankfurt train station. The single rooms are extremely small but otherwise nice. They have coffee/tea making facilities in the room which was nice. The breakfast was very good as it included cooked breakfast options like scrambled egg and pancakes. Overall a very good option for a single traveller on business. The only downside is the area around the train station feels unsafe. So walking to the hotel was not great. But once you step inside it’s very pleasant.

No issue with the hotel and service. However the location is not safe. Not recommended if your a woman travelling alone.

2 minutes walk to main station however too many drunk people in the area. The staff were so nice to pack us breakfast to go becuse we left the hotel at 6am.

Clean and tidy hotel, friendly staff, basic no frills single room but good for one night. Nice breakfast, convenient location next to the main station.

This hotel was very clean, and the front desk was very helpful. My room was small, but had ample enough space and was very clean.. Everything worked well in the room.. The breakfast at this hotel was amazing!. Very close to the train station, which makes transportation to the airport very easy. The area around this hotel needs some attention..

Very helpful front desk. Help me with electrical adapter. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simply amazing. Felt very welcome in this hotel!. Will not hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to friends.
