Concorde Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for one night only, catching a train from a flight into Frankfurt. It is a 3-min walk to the main railway station, 10 min walk to the Goethe Museum and historical downtown. The rooms are small but that is to be expected in tight downtown buildings. But the room was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff at the hotel was friendly and extremely helpful, almost everyone spoke good English. Best hot breakfast in a hotel I've had in a long time. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Property was near train station and at night we felt it to be not very safe. Also, we needed to take elevator to 5th floor and walk up a flight of steps to 6th floor carrying our luggage which was very difficult. Our double bed was against a 2 walls so one person had to climb over the other person to get in and out of bed.

Most staff were nice, approachable, & helpful. A couple of the older staff seem disinterested, when issues arose,they didn't attempt to find try to find alternatives, they didn't indicate they were done trying to help us. Such strange interactions. Glad they have coffee & tea to make in the room & kettle.

Good hotel in general

The noise of the AC changing air every 30 minutes and the sound of drainage kept me awake all night. The hotel was close to the main train station (which was good) but close to the sexual industry, which made me feel unsafe to walk around even during the day.

Stayed here for one night in Frankfurt, very close to the central station convenient to walk in mins

The good: convenient walk to main train station. That's it. The not-so-good: Our room was on the 6th floor, which is not served by the elevator. Get off at the 5th level then climb a narrow circular staircase to the 6th. If you have mobility issues (I have vertigo), DO NOT let this hotel put you on the 6th floor. Sketchy neighborhood; first European city where we didn't feel safe as pedestrians. As for the room, heater/ AC unit didn't work, which explained the portable space heater. Heater in bathroom was next to the ceiling, little or no heat reached the floor. Cord for space heater not long enough for heater to sit on floor (where it needs to be in order to work), see photo. Shower gel dispenser didn't work in shower, reported problem but never fixed. English-speaking channels on TV are not available even though they're listed in the hotel guide. In-room instant coffee was the worst I've ever tasted; had a chemical flavor and a "soapy" smell. Hotel staff does not understand the "Do Not Disturb" sign; several times they tried to enter room without knocking. Laundry service not available Fri-Sun. Other minor issues but this review is already too long.

Close to central station, small room. Room seems clean but there is cigarette butt and broke glass in the room. So not too sure.

I picked this hotel for a one night stay with a friend whilst visiting Frankfurt. We picked this location as it was just over the road from the city’s main train station. I can’t say the atmosphere of the city was welcoming. As soon as you stepped foot out of the station there were pockets of immigrant youths hanging around, eyeing you up. Thankfully my mate and I are quite big lads so never had any issues. The hotel and its staff were friendly, reception very clean and welcoming. The room was very small but fine for an overnight stay. The same applies to bathroom but that’s ok also. Bed was comfortable. Lots of bars and restaurants in area but be warned when walking around at night. The next road appeared to be one of the city’s red light districts and was filled with people and prostitutes off their heads. In summary, the hotel was fine for us but I won’t be visiting Frankfurt again.
