"Our new favorite place to stay in Monterey!"

Wow. I have been wanting to stay at this resort for YEARS! The timing finally worked out and we had the absolute BEST time. The staff at the front desk was amazing. Robert even more so. We are so grateful for the little touches ready when we arrived and the amazing room with beautiful views. I already have three more trips in mind to this fabulous place. 1. Our dogs, 2. More family, 3. Girlfriends. Can't wait. This place, right on the beach, with bonfires, a fabulous restaurant, and wonderful staff make this our #1 place to stay in Monterey. Thank you! 😊

We came to Sanctuary for a special birthday staycation and the choice did not disappoint. The warm welcome and attentiveness at the front desk staff set the pace for a consistently wonderful overall experience. Zack (Bellman) drove us to our little suite on the sand, and as soon as we were settled in, a parade of breeching humpback whales continued the warm welcome. We sat on the patio and enjoyed that especially wonderful moment. The room was the perfect combination of comfort and utility, with an array of unexpected complimentary goodies and amenities. We were very satisfied with our experience at this resort and we will definitely become repeat guests in the future.

"The Perfect Place to Getaway"

I have stayed at the Sanctuary countless times. It is our getaway for relaxation and enjoyment. It is a quiet resort and you never even have to leave the place. Depending on the room you book you will have an amazing ocean view and the staff is always very welcoming. Highly recommended for any occasion.

"Will Come Back Again!"

Love this place! This beachfront hotel is exactly what we needed. The views are stunning, and having direct beach access right from the hotel is incredible with no fuss, just sand and ocean steps away. We spent our mornings on the balcony watching the waves and our evenings catching the most gorgeous sunsets. Can’t wait to come back with my pup!

"Perfect place to relax"

We looked around for a local resort to spend our baby moon and this place exceeded our expectations! The resort is beautiful and the staff is very attentive. We wanted to disconnect from our busy lives and relax before our baby's arrival. We ended up getting extremely lucky and enjoyed the beautiful summer like weather in winter!
