Ok for one night's stay. Needed at bed. the ice maker didn't work, but was provided ice.
Badly in need of renovation
Had an access issue with my service dog as soon as we arrived. had to argue with the guy over federal law. Finally got thst resolved and got to our room. We figured the listing just hadnt ever been updated stating the room was a smoking room which is illegal in iowa. Nope it was a smoking room. Now weve got 3 broken laws. Walls and smoke detector were covered in smoke residue. Bathroom was missing fixtures. Sink only had hot water. Half the tv channels didnt work because they were frozen. No fridge or microwave.
Older hotel. Staff was good. In need of being updated.
Sink leaked onto the floor
The desk clerk couldn’t even read my name on the list of reservations she had. I had to find my own. The lobby wreaked of cigarette smoke probably from the managing staff. The room heater kept the room cold set at 68 and hit set at 70! Dirt around the edges of the carpet, the wall and floor were separating with big cracks allowing for roaches or whatever to enter, walls were dirty, and the tub drain was broken meaning shower only and one could easily cut their foot. But the worst was the charge Expedia charged. It was listed much high than the motel was charging.

It was very clean and comfortable. Just older motel and needed some update.
Will NOT stay here again. Reserved Queen bed, got a double. Was told they were queens. Staff didn't understand our requests. Rooms need updated. Badly. riad and drive need major work.
