"Stop bothering guests prior to check out"

The place is getting renovated so the pool and hot tub were closed. Very disappointed because we were looking forward to swimming. Hallways and steps were a work in progress. Our room was renovated but the toilet didn't always flush. We had to open the lid twice to get the tank to fill and flush. I reported it to the front desk upon checkout. We had a knock on the door at 9:30 and again right at 11am regarding checking out. We go to hotels about 20 nights a year and NEVER have me been bugged about checking out in such a way.

"Ehh!"

The close proximity to where I needed to be. And the extra security lock..

I don't recall the website indicating that the property was under remodel. The room STUNK! SMELLED STALE! I had to go to Walgreens across the Hwy to purchase a travel size Lysol, which I used the entire spray. The room needs to be aired out! And the lighting was poor. No hangers. The only option was coffee. I drink tea. I don't have a reason to ever be in the area again. And I certainly wouldn't recommend this MOTEL!!
