Express Inn & Suites San Antonio near SeaWorld - Medical Center

We were given a room when someone was already there. They refused to give me a receipt of the $20 deposit that they require that is not listed on the property details.

Bed comfort, dead cockroaches, non working outlets and smells musty. Front counter staff was rude and inconsiderate by talking on their phones while dealing with customers...I will never book with them again.

Terrible location. Not friendly at all. Dirty everywhere.

The clerk at the desk was very rude and abrupt. Wanted me to give him 50.00 in cash for deposit. I did not. I gave him a credit card. He wanted me to go to the ATM and get cash. I did not. Will never stay here again

Towels were grayish, bed sheets stained, had to ask for toilet paper, didn’t bother to refill anything. Reserved for 4 people, only placed 2 bath towels. Guessing it was owner or family but had me wait to be assisted while he was on a personal call. Literally had a sign on the counter stating “back in 5 minutes” yet he was sitting right there behind the counter.

They did not have the amenities as described no breakfast. The pool was empty, so no water. There were roaches everywhere. The bed linen was filthy. The walls are filthy. The refrigerator in microwave was filthy. They did not have any type of room service. The towels were nasty. I had to buy towels. I had to buy cookware. I had to buy linen because by the time we got there, we were so exhausted and then we still ended up sleeping somewhere else. They have the ice machine downstairs and you have to get it in a bag. The sink was stopped up and I had two rooms. It was like that in both room rooms. I took pictures. Hopefully, I can post them.
