Texarkana Inn

We waited 25 minutes for someone to man the frint desk to check us in. We found out that the hot breakfast we anticipated was not to be. Instead, there were muffins and coffee. Unacceptable for my diabetic husband and not what we thought it would be.

No fridge no microwave in the suite no couch no chair very disappointing

Property was decent, but due to renovations it was minimal on accommodation

Due to renovations, there were a lot of things missing by refrigerator telephone for the room and the bedding need to be a lot better

Comfy bed and hot water

Tub was cracked. Mold around everything in the bathroom. Needed an update So very badly. Tub was cracked right in the middle. I am sure water was leaking out the bottom to somewhere. Everything was very very run down and no breakfast. A muffin is not breakfast

Staff at check-in was super fantastic and everything is going well.

Excellent check in and very helpful and very nice

We booked a two bed room and were given one king bed. We went downstairs to get it changed and had to pay for an upgrade. Once we got to the new room, we closed the door and started to unpack only to realise there was no door handle on the door to get out of the room - there were no phones in the room to contact reception. We are lucky we picked up an international SIM card up that morning otherwise we would have had no way to contact reception to get out of the room. When I called reception and told her the situation, she asked me the call back in 5 minutes. When she came in the room to let us out she said “I don’t know what to do as you guys have already contaminated this room” - we advised her we can’t stay in a room without a door handle and she finally changed our room. She told us to go up and check new room out to make sure it was okay before entering, the TV didn’t work in the room and we book this hotel due to the UFC fights being on that we wanted to watch. We advised her of this and she asked us to just not use the TV - when we expressed we wanted to use it she reluctantly came up and helped us with it. For breakfast it is advertised that a continental breakfast is included between 6-9am, when we went down for breakfast nothing was out on display and we were told they only offer a muffin and juice since covid and they just haven’t updated their listing.

Clean rooms!

The breakfast was almost nonexistent. The only good thing is the staff, who were very friendly and did the best they could.

The property basically needs to be demolished and rebuilt. It's in very poor condition. I've travelled in the third world, and the condition of this hotel was comparable or worse.

We were the first to stay in a newly renovated room. The staff were friendly/helpful and checking in was easy.

There wasn’t a place to hang our clothes. No extra blankets and the room was cold so we didn’t get much sleep. No place to get snacks.
