Texarkana Inn

Looked to be under construction—carpets in hall ways were filthy, room was ok, fridge in room dirty, staff were friendly. Holiday weekend and pool was not open.

First room very dirty. Got another room also very dirty. Sticky floors, old bed sheets with stains and may not have been washed since previous guest. Was unaware that hotel was ongoing renovations. “Breakfast” consisted of a muffin with juice machine and coffee. Staff was nice though.

I understand that they were going thru a renovation. However, the first room they gave us had bleach stained bed covers and the tub had cracks. You could see where they tried to fix things with a lot of caulking. The second room had hair all in the shower. The third room was ok, but smelled. They refused to refund us since we booked through Expedia.

This hotel was a joke!! They lied about breakfast and tried to pass off stale muffins as breakfast also they claimed to have a pool but it was gross and filled with swamp water!! The elevator smelled like a dead body the room was disgusting with stained sheets and what looked like human feces on the bed skirt the chair in the room looked like it was dug out of the dumpster the bathtub floor looked and felt like it was going to cave in me and my husband was highly upset and feel like we deserve a refund!! Rating 0 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Needs remodeling. Security is non-existent! One window would not lock allowing easy access from outside on ground floor. Secondary access door lock was inoperable and guests were blocking door open to halllways.

The person working in the front desk was very slow. It took over 30 minutes to check in and already had a reservation and paid for. The hotel was very dirty stains on the sheets over the floor the room was not clean. The elevator was broke to the second floor and had to use the emergency stairs behind the service desk to get it to the room

The hotel is being remodeled. It should not be open for rentals. Construction debris and supplies all over. Air quality abysmal. Sheetrock dust on all surfaces in the room. Had to call the hotel’s phone to get someone to come to the front desk. Outlets and lights on the bedside of the room did not work. No redeeming factors.
