The place is old but super clean

I don't know if there is transportation services but everything is nearby

Convenient, comfortable

The room was recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. There were issues..the door key and lock didn't work right, the draperies did not close properly, there was no holder for the toilet paper. Also, no lights in the stairwells so hard to go anywhere after dark. The internet did not work inside the room. That being said, I would try again after the renovations are complete. The restaurant was good and the bed was great,

Shopping is walkable distance/an added plus

Afternoon and evening front desk were marvellous..very helpful, and they are the reason I will stay here on our return from Mexico. Breakfast needs work.. bread yes, muffin yes, waffle yes, butter no, marmalade, jam etc no...so if you like warm toast with nothing on, youre well looked after... Great location, very close to the border, and a lovely room...thanks

Lovely hotel a bit dated but clean

I liked that I was able to park by my room

Nice hotel but internet terrible on some rooms. We asked to move rooms. No elevators if you have to go up or down. Very strange layout of hotel. Staff were awesome trying to make us happy. Restaurant on property was first class.Likely would go back.

After reading all the TripAdvisor reviews we almost cancelled our booking but decided to see for ourselves what the hotel was like. The check in person was extremely competent & friendly. The room was very clean, cleaner than some of the other higher priced hotels we stayed in. Could the hotel use some modernizing, sure, but it was certainly fine the way it is. I would say it is average quality as the price reflects. The restaurant attached to the hotel, Caracas, is very good. We would stay at this hotel again. It is unfortunate that the majority of reviews on TA are negative and people really should take the time to also post positive reviews.
