Not great, but not expensive. No Kleenex. Two other units tv had to be unplugged and plugged for tv to work.

Location

A dead mouse in the bathroom. Then the attendant tried to make it sound like they don't have mice, so I must have put it there. Yes, I apparently carried a dead mouse with me all the way from Iowa just to put it in a room I reserved. Needless to say, we left.

Well, what can you say it's located in a Auburn California which is a nice Town for some 1-3 three day exploring. The Hotel itself had a big car parking, and some fresh fruit (Apples) for breakfast. A tiny small pool area. A nice recommended breakfast place was around the corner...

I had to switch the first room I got because it smelled like someone smoked, had that in several other Hotels/Motels too...even though I booked a non-smoking room. Just can't stand the smell. Room was changed no problem. The room, bathroom and the Hotel in general is definitely dated and could use a make-over, generally not priced accordingly. Getting into the driveway from the main street is a bit tricky if you're unfamiliar with it. Lots of folk were hanging around the parking lot.

The room showed signs of being well used. The small frig was on the floor with the microwave setting on top of it. Grout in bathroom and around sink show signs of mold. More than normal cleaning would clean. Back of the bathroom door showed water stains. This room just needs updating with paint and additional furniture, and shower head needs replacement.
