Super 8 by Wyndham Canon City

There was no room. Front desk guy just told me there was a problem. Never got a call, wasted time stopping. Luckily we were able to find a room at another hotel.

No frills hotel. Convenient and affordable.

Property is not 24 hours check in as stated in description. Our flight was delayed due to weather. We received multiple calls asking when we would arrive as the front desk was closing. Desk is actually only open 6:30 to 11. It seems to me like someone bought the property and cheaped out on hiring staff and it is all family members. Cleanliness of rooms and breakfast bar area was subpar. There were dirty towels and pillowcases in the room. There was a layer of dust of the lamps and window sill. The breakfast was below standards. The apple juice was so watered down it was mainly water with a slight apple juice flavor. The milk containers had a film around the pouring spout and the milk smelled like it was spoiled. My husband tried to make a waffle but he said it didn't taste right and wondered about the batters freshness. The vending machine on the second floor is empty and the soda machine on the first floor was half empty. The ice machine is in the middle of the lobby. We saw the guy with the cleaning cart as we were leaving and there were minimal supplies on his cart. Really made me question the cleanliness of this location.

When I went to check in, the man on the reception couldn't understand me. I speak English very clearly... He didn't. His boss came and sorted it out. Then advised me I had been charged twice. He did fix it. The room was smelly, luckily we could open the window and let some fresh air in. The sheets and quilt cover had many holes in them. They were that thin I could see all the stains in the mattress protector. The hallway smelled of curry. The Continental breakfast was very basic. I would never stay here again.

My room was as pictured and i slept well. But the area and other tenants made me uncomfortable

Staff was helpful but upon check in the room was filthy all types of hair in the restroom sinks were all gross aswell the smell of the room eas revolting. My son had a severe allergic reaction to the room face puffed up and hives he is still trying to recover. Staff did move rooms but quality wasn't much better yet a bit cleaner than the last. I would suggest they remove all carpets from the rooms. Not very sanitary.

Great stay, friendly staff, clean room, and super comfortable bed.

The front desk is supposed to be 24 hours and I’m trying to check in at 1 AM and nobody’s here

Plenty of warm blankets. Comfey chair and otoman.

Desk clerk was very nice. Beds were comfortable. Can walk to supper.
