Super 8 by Wyndham Benton Harbor St Joseph

While it is probably a very good location if you are arriving by car, it's a fair walk from the Greyhound station (taxis are unreliable in the area apparently). Next to a gas station that sells food and all sorts (and a Wendys - although it is currently closed, apparently under refurbishment)

While the sink top in the bathroom had been renewed and was good quality, the shower pressure wasn't great

The whole hotel smells like one huge indian restaurant. The location is almost on the highway and the noise levels are ridiculous. We got signed on no-smoking rooms. we are not smokers. The first room we stepped into was like going into a casino. you smell the smoke but the amount of perfume was overwhelming. We got another room with a lot less smell. The room had a blanket with burn holes from cigarettes. The room was ok but old. Pillows as old as my grandmother. The place advertises breakfast included. the breakfast is a coffee you can't drink and some juice you need to be brave to try. that's it! not recommended.

Could have been cleaner. Our TV screen was very dirty, and microwave was very dirty. Rest of room was so,so.

Price for the holiday weekend

Bed sheets were not clean ceiling was falling apart in the shower

Clean rooms. The place did not smell like smoke.
