Super 8 by Wyndham Eau Claire I-94

Room was never cleaned at all , or bed sheets washed or beds made-up, or toilets cleaned for the entire 120 days i stayed there, nor did i recieve the points i should have earned , which the manager promised i would get. They should not be allowed to be a member or sister motel in the Wyndham Rewards hotels chain. From Jan to June of 2025

The guy who checked me in came tonhelp with no socks or shoes on. The bathroom counter and walllooks like it needs paint and caulk. The air conditioner didnt work so it got warm at times. The window to my room outside looks like someone tried to break in. Theres an area that looks like it could be a nice area for you to take your dog except some of the wall is down laying in the parking lot...The carpet and floor need some TLC. This mught be the worst Super 8 ive ever been to!

Air conditioner did not work, fridge was broke so my leftovers were ruined, bed was comfy.

A friend reminded me to leave this review. On August 17, 2024, I was traveling from Minnesota back to Ohio. I stopped at this location for a night's stay. I was traveling alone. I am also disabled. I made the reservation and then headed to the motel. I could tell it was run down when I walked into the front door. But, I was tired and decided if the room was decent, I would stay. When I got to the front desk, I was greeted by a rude Indian man. He was not friendly. I ignored it, and got my key. I reserved a handicap room around the corner from the front desk. When I entered the room, it was very warm and smelled musty. I immediately started looking for the air conditioning unit. I am used to them being at the window or a control on the wall. But I couldn't find it. Now, mind you, I am handicapped and unfortunately, one of my problems is that I can't raise my head up very high. Anyway, I called the front desk. He told me to look at the wall. I said I am looking at the wall, I don't see anything. He slammed the phone down and then banged on my door hard. I answered, he blew past me, and pointed to the air conditioning unit by the window, high up on the wall. I said, "Oh, it's there," and then he said, "Stupid American". I then said, "How rude," and he blew past me again, glared at me, and then slammed the door shut. I mean, all he had to say was look by the window and then look up. It would have solved that problem instantly. He acted like I had disturbed his slumber by asking a stupid question. I have worked (before my disability) in the hospitality industry for many years. Including being a supervisor for the desk. I would have never trained or accepted an employee to treat any guest that way. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay at this location ever again! I will choose another motel for that exit. The only positive experience I had was when I was leaving a folk music band was leaving a the same time, and they asked to help me get my luggage in the back of my CRV. And, we struck a very nice conversation. I really love meeting people when I am traveling. If you don't care if the front desk staff is rude, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, go to another motel. I meant to leave this review last year, but I forgot until now.

The rooms look out dated, but neat however they had a bad smell. So, bring air freshener it smelled like it was cleaned with water but no soap so a musty smell. The tub was dirty had a ring around it like someone had taken a bath. I picked this place due to price and this sight showed reviews of a 3.5 but that to me wasn’t true, I later checked the hotel name and seen a lower review so check sight and actual hotel site for reviews. So for me lesson learned is pictures dont tell the story. One last thing, the original room I was given after checking in didn’t have a tv so as we brought our things in it was changed and it was said due to that reason. The clerks were nice to me. Breakfast was okay not many options, 2 cereal, a jug of milk in the fridge, oranges, waffle mix, syrup but no butter, coffee and two juices in a machine, yogurt and about three small tables with two chairs.

Disgusting hotel! Management didn’t care. Worst smell and look I’ve seen. And I stay in a lot of hotels. There was stained sheets, blankets, the body odor smell was atrocious. Definitely not a place I would recommend to even my worst enemy. Stay away at all costs. I’d rather sleep in my car and use a truck stop shower than go in that place

For the price it was more than adequate. Clean, quiet but a bit small. Couldn't control the ac except for on or off

Why am I being charged $52 for an upgrade when I was told it would only be $10???? Highway robbery!!!
