Super 8 by Wyndham Hagerstown I-70

Friendly check-in staff and great location. Good price and nice room with refrigerator and microwave. Very good AC unit. Everything I needed.

We booked ahead of time. No one,was at the front desk when we arrived. We waited in the lobby and called for 15 mins. Still no one appeared or answered our phone calls an hour and a half later. We ended up going down the street to rent a room. We had been traveling all day. My reservation was never accommodated , therefore I feel I should not be charged for a cancelation charge.

Not being accommodated when we made numerous attempts to sign in. Waiting and calling for over an hour and a half.

Would not stay there again staff was unreliable and was very dirty

Pillow sucked. Bed uncomfortable felt like you where going to roll out of it if you got to close to the edge

The cable and air conditioner did not work. I ask for my money back and was told no. I did not know I had to pay for a deposit and I never got my deposit back.

I could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway. Breakfast consisted of toast and coffee. There was cereal, but I didn't want to guess how old it was.

Nothing super bad service

I would definitely stay here again if I needed lodging in the area. Having stated the preceding, however, although this hotel was nicely updated, clean, well maintained, quiet and apparently safe; the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. There was an open 1 gallon milk carton just sitting in a container with no refrigeration or even on ice. There was an open loaf of bread for guests to reach into with their hands, no tongs that could prevent touching slices other than the ones being removed from the package. Only regular coffee; not decaf offered. No, there was no evidence of the dining area not being cleaned; but the milk and bread scenario seemed a bit unsanitary to me. I’m at a loss that the heath inspector hasn’t written them up for what seems to violate reasonable standards and expectations to prevent contamination.

Hotel should have a designated area for smokers, the room highway smell of cigarettes no good for no smokers
