Super 8 by Wyndham Warrensburg

The rooms were dirty, both that we were assigned. Broken and nonworking equipment/appliances in the rooms. The first room one of the beds hadn't been changed. There were hairs on the sheets as well as eye shadow and glitter on the sheets. The steam table at the breakfast smelled so terrible I wouldn't even think about eating the cold sausages or runny eggs. A very disappointing experience.

We were put in a room that was being remodeled. Windows were left open, no screens. Stink bugs and June bugs were everywhere. Empty water bottles and used brown hand towels laying around. No elevator. I am 70 and my husband is 80. No help to carry up to 2nd floor. We asked for a room on 1st floor and were told they were being renovated. There was a smell that we could not figure out. The sheet was coming off the bed so I pulled the mattress up to put it back in place and found an open bag of cheese dated 1 year ago. There was 1 towel, 1 wash cloth. Our keys to door didn't work and we had to go to the office many times. I found the cheese but was headed to a meeting so waited till the next day to take the cheese to the front desk.Harry was apologetic and refunded a small amount of $. Now they have taken more $ out of my account for a cancelation fee. We tried to find a room elsewhere but all was filled. I went thru booking.com and they won't help me. I call the hotel and stay on hold forever. Don't stay at this Super8 Wyndham!

No elevator. My husband is 80 and I'm 70. We asked for a bottom floor but all were being renovated. Dirty brown hand towels in sink, empty water bottles in room. Painters tape around shower. Window was wide open ,no screen. Killed June bugs and stink bugs inside the room.Some kind of smell. Cereal for breakfast, no milk. Security door had a drill bit so was allowed to stay unlocked. No door knobs on emergency door so could not open in case of an emergency. Water stains on ceiling, big crack across ceiling. Last but not least, I found under neath the mattress by my head a bag of cheese. I was replacing the sheet that had come off. To my surprise it was expired in 2025 so was a year old. I was already late to a ceremony and didn't get back till late so took it down the next morning to the Mgr. He did refund some $. But then on Thursday booking.com charged me more $. I will contact the Health dept and code compliance as well as corporate. And try and retrieve the $ from booking .com

I requested a first floor room. They have no elevators and I can't walk up stairs. Was given a 2ed floor room twice. Then was given a first floor room that was recently painted. Still had paint cans in the room. Smelled highly of paint. Finally the 4th room we were given was ok but the heater/ ac was broken. Didn't work at all. And the screen on the window was ripped so I couldn't even open the window.

At super 8, no locks on doors. Took 30 minutes to check in. The room had a terrible odor. So I asked for refund. I got refund. Went to quality inn down the road and had large nice room. No odor. Felt safe and clean.
