Auburn Inn

The room was clean and the staff was nice. The property was clean. Only thing I wish the staff do was clean up the room while we were out for the day. Change garbage and give clean towels daily. I had to ask for them every day.

I paid $100 for a room that was dingy and dirty and should be valued at $40 at best. The staff was friendly and great but I would definitely not spend my money there again. The chair in the room was an old recliner that was stained and could be found in your grandparents den. The shower had someone else's hair. The peep hole on the front door had a bead and dead spider stuffed in it so I couldn't look out if someone came to the door. The walls were missing plaster and the tv remote didn't work.

A little dated and priced a little high for the weekend

The staff was wonderful, pleasant and attentive to customers. AC/heater, hot water, WiFi, cable, fridge microwave all worked fine. Breakfast was one cereal, toast, a few mini doughnuts, juice and regular coffee only. Now the not so good stuff. The room was musty and required me to use my asthma inhaler. It was not clean with hair left on the shower walls. The mattress mushy with big old sink hole on the overused side. Overpriced for the quality.

only positive was convenience and cost. Everything else left much to be desired. Tiny bathroom, broken door handle; dated decorations. Stale odor in hallways and room. Free breakfast negligible . . we ate out.Won't be back.

People were super nice. The facility is on the bleak side of the spectrum.

Good value! Nice and clean..friendly staff and comfy beds!

We used this hotel as an overnight for the New York State Fair. It is within a reasonable distance of Syracuse, and although it wasn't the least expensive option, it was pretty close. The building itself is good, and it's location is great within Auburn; within walking distance of a number of eating and drinking options. The room we had was adequate. The bedding appeared to be clean and the room overall was fine though there was no microwave and no mini-fridge. On the plus side, the air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom worked but if you're more than one person make sure you have shampoo and soap with you. My only real complaint is that the wall beside the sink could have used a better scrub or another paint job. The continental breakfast consists of coffee, juice, milk, a couple of cereal choices, some donuts, and bread/toast. There is no eating area. So if you're looking to save a few bucks on a popular weekend then this hotel is certainly adequate. Just don't expect a whole lot and you will be good!
