"Weekend in Melrose!"

The desk worker (I assumed also the owner) was friendly and helpful. He showed general interest in what brought us to stay in Melrose. The staffed seemed happy and seemed to work hard! The room had updated carpeting and furniture and looked like they were trying to improve their hotel.

Room was clean and price was great.

Lady working the front desk had no clue what she was doing and tool 40 minutes to get a room while she texted on her phone with someone the whole time. Almost left and went to a different hotel.

"Would not recommend "

The motel is very outdated. Breakfast is a joke and the room had a not so great smell. The light in the bathroom flickered a lot which was quite annoying.
