Bison Plains Lodge

The Hotel was conveniently located off the I-94 in Moorhead.

I had such high hopes for this hotel. Their website looked and sounded so good, and they got such good reviews ( I dont know who is leaving those glowing reviews ). The entire place - lobby, hallways and rooms - is dingy and dirty. I set a plate of food on the room table and noticed something sticky. Looking closer, i found the whole table was covered by some sticky food residue. I had to clean the whole tabletop. The chest of drawers wobbled back and forth when I touched it. The carpets everywhere were dirty and stained. The bed, however, was comfortable.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, coffee was really good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again

If you are just passing through and need somewhere to sleep then this hotel is fine. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. They had some cute extras in the bathroom which were thoughtful. The staff were really nice too. Even though they are trying to fix up the room they still smell like years and years of people smoking in the room, basically its like staying inside an ashtray.

Service is above and beyond!

The hotel is tired and in need of upgrading. There were musty smells in the hall and in our air conditioner. Once that was turned off it was ok.
