USUSTo start with they changed my reservation that I made on 5/31/25 from a suite for $187.35 to 2 doubles which cost me $172.55 and $144.71, which they did not notify me about until 30 minutes before we arrived...When we went down for breakfast at 8:30am there was not enough food and when I asked the front desk person if she was going to add more food she went and looked at what was there and then went back to the front desk so we just left to get breakfast elsewhere....We were on our way to Canada so I asked the front desk lady if she knew if the border was open and she looked at me and stated "I don't know", now I would think that being that close to the border that employees of a motel would have that information for travelers....I am hoping that you can get me a refund of $144.71 because again I booked a suite and they did not let me know until about 30 minutes before we arrived that it was unavailable...they for sure owe me a refund of $14.80 because my receipts show room 207 $172.55 and room 209 $144.71 and my Discover card was charged $187.35 on 5/31/25 and $144.71 on 6/19/25. Please help me.

USDidn't stay. Canceled when arrived. Booking.com booked a room that didn't exist. Got a call the day before the arrival of the mistake. Returned call and women talked to kept telling to call back when manager was in. English was not her first language. After multiple calls, someone (male) who also had difficulty with English claimed reservation was correct. Arrived at property, and first impression was no way that would stay there. Lobby cluttered and dirty. Building/property looked like not cared for. The lady at the desk claimed she was the manager and that the booking was for a non-existent room. Offered to cancel reservation at no charge. Canceled reservation.
