Americas Best Value Inn Richmond

i recently stayed in Room 227 at Americas Best Value Inn Richmond San Francisco. The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out hassle-free. However, I did experience some issues with noise from the adjoining room. There is a connecting door between rooms, which unfortunately didn’t provide enough sound insulation. Sounds from the neighboring room were quite noticeable, affecting the overall peace and quiet. Despite this, the location was convenient, and the service was good. If you’re sensitive to noise, you may want to request a room without an adjoining door.

We asked for a couple extra pillows and the housekeepers and the dude at the front desk acted like we was asking for a refund. The door in our room was a ridiculous patch job that could've easily been fixed by just replacing the whole door. The maintenance man should be fired there. 100.

This place was freightening to stay in. From the moment we arrived, there were people openly using drugs just outside the hotel – it felt completely unsafe. Inside, things somehow got worse. The bathroom had visible mold, the rooms reeked of filth, and everything felt extremely dirty and poorly maintained. This is not just a run-down hotel – it’s a health and safety hazard. I can’t stress this enough: do not ever bring your family or children here. I wouldn’t even recommend it to someone traveling alone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or unsafe in a hotel in my life. Avoid this place at all costs
