Econo Lodge

This hotel is run down and nasty. My daughter plays travel ball and it’s right across the street from the fields. I will never stay here again, I’d rather drive farther to get a decent hotel. The beds were AWFUL! Very hard. The comforters have cigarette burns all over. The toilet leaked into the floor. Holes in the wall and just dirty.

Did not stay there after all. Once I arrived at the Econo Lodge, I realized it did not have the amenities I was looking for- no restaurant present and no shuttle service to the Birmingham Airport, both of which I required. There was a restauraant across a busy highway, which did not meet my needs.

If someone with money could buy the building and remodel it right it could be very nice great location and views from the third floor but sadly it's going to waste. The price they advertise is a lie they do it to suck you in.

Smelled marijuana in several areas walking to our room. Our room was 1/2 block from our car. Heard a conversation from another tenant whose appearance was questionable (looked like a prostitute). Paid for 2 nights, stayed one and will not go back.

The toilet was running and it would not flush properly.the room smells awful for the price that was paid.sheets were dingy and had spots I didn’t even stay until check out.it was not worth the money. Should give a refund.I will never in life stay here again.it’s a terrible stay

It was the awful things ever to ring with nasty tub stopped up with hair and dirt had to be cleaned out as I was going on To clean the tub out i saw more spiders on the wall kill them that cops of boots and hair out of the bathtub drain they gave me one price of $105 when I got here it was $135 they said because it was past 10:00 they were told it would be around 11:00 before I got there and the man that was working said that it was going to be 135.00. Instead of 105 00 will never say here again no vending machines call front desk asking about the vending machines I said if you want any ice or drinks you hate her to the store and buy them for sale at the wrong

Your rates are much to high, for the condition of your fasolity

They will steal your money and say they gave you a refund when they haven’t it’s been 20 days! Lets start from the beginning my dad, my kids and, me was trying to get a room the employee PERRY (don’t know his last name because he wouldn’t give it) told us it was $90 well we paid $90 he gave us the room key we got in the car headed to the room. On the way to our room he’s waving us to come back down so we turn around and go back to the office. He then proceeded to tell us that the room was dirty and he didn’t have a cleaning lady on the property it’ll take 2 hours (witch was a big LIE because their computer system tells them when a room is clean or dirty and the cleaning lady was walking around with the cleaning cart lol). We was already tired from AirBNB playing with us so we told him we’d like to wait don’t refund it we’ll just come back we’ll as I’m saying that he hands me the refund paper and says it’ll take 14 days witch that’s all we had. Anyways we got help from family about 3 hours later we called and ask if Perry had any rooms available he said plenty well we get there and he proceeds to say it’ll be $180 we’ll they already had $90 so we just agreed because we was tired and fed up. Perry jumps on the phone and talks with a manager or someone and then tells us he couldn’t give us a room (he checked in a family way bigger than mine right after when apparently there was no room available I guess he just meant none for my family and me)witch didn’t make a lick of sense. It’s been 20 days and I still haven’t received a refund and my bank said they haven’t released a refund to them so I called them back and told them that they’ve STOLE my money and it’s been way past time and my bank said y’all are lying about my refund so now I have to call corporate back for the 5th time and get them to give me my money back witch PERRY STOLE that’s exactly what he did and now he’s trying to say I canceled the room witch that would mean they could keep the money but that’s NOT WHAT HAPPEND Perry canceled my room and LIED about it all. I recommend you never ever ever stay here Perry is a LIAR AND A THIEVE! This has been the absolute worst experience I’ve EVER HAD with a hotel it’s pathetic how they treat people and how they can get away with theft makes no sense at all.

The front desk lady was very rude at check in and did not describe where my room was at all! Sink was not attached to the wall well and for a king size bed they only had 3 really tiny pillows on the bed
