Not so good service

First--- I had asked for a ground level room if there was no elevator. I had a paid reservation. The clerk looked me in the eye, and lied, saying he had no ground level rooms. I would have to go somewhere else. When he realized I had a paid reservation, he suddenly came up with a room. The room was very worn, and outdated. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The bathroom door was in poor condition, and should be replaced. The carpet was very worn, with strings sticking out around the doors. There were only 2 pillows on each bed, and they were half the size of a normal pillow. It really needed updating! I would not stay there again.

The first room was sent into when you flush the toilet the floor would be begin to flood due to the bottom of the toilet leaking. The second room i was put in upon request the plastic pieces around the bottom of the wall were perlimg off and the covers had smoking burn marks.

We stayed there for 1 night on our way to Florida. The place needs an extreme remodel. Ceiling paint in our room was flaking off and TV reception was very poor and internet WiFi access was very slow. We were afraid to eat the free breakfast due to the condition of the rest of the hotel. We would recommend for everyone to avoid staying at Econolodges.

You're better off sleeping in the car.run down old nothing works the door key card didn't work the door was stuck the smell of smoke overwhelms the room it irritated my throat. The air smells m moldy.we had small decoratived pillows for pillows a phone that didn't work remote had no batteries, the toilet looked like they came from a night club and you couldn't pay me to take a shower in that tub I stayed for 2-3 hours and checked out. Pay that extra for Days Inn before you leave with a sore throat like I did

Average stay needs upgrades

This hotel had pros and cons, so I'll start with the pros. The bed and bedding seemed new and comfortable. Some of the furniture looked fairly new. There was a refrigerator and microwave. However, the cons were many. We were given no info at check in, like wifi password, breakfast info, etc. I didn't even have to show ID, or sign anything. The grounds were quite rundown (pool was closed but left open to the elements, garbage can tipped over, lights outside rooms were flickering on and off, maintenance panels were open in walkways). We had to park in the back of the building, but our room faced the front, it's an odd set-up. The bathroom was very old and crusty. There was barely anything to eat in the breakfast area, so we didn't even bother. At check out there was no receipt, I was told it would be emailed to me. It felt like no one wanted to bother doing anything, so they didn't.

The hotel was run down & needed lots of updates. My toilet had not been flushed & the door had a big gap (like i could see light coming in from the top all the way to the bottom).

The location was fair. I didn’t like the parking, they didn’t offer irons or an ironing board. The shower leaked out the bottom of the tub.
