Syracuse Inn

The hotel was in a very poor condition. Smelly carpets, broken doors, cockroaches in room, dirty all around, dingy and sad.

Room was not very clean smelled musty and gross. We requested pillows and got none. Shower was dirty.

Easy access

Not finished! Not clean, trash left on the floor behind toilet.

I stayed here because I didn't book early enough (only 1.5 mos out) for SU family weekend. Positives: The family running this place is extremely nice and provided great, prompt customer service. There were many nice people and families staying here. It's clear they are currently renovating the property. There are many other hotels in the area full of families, so the area feels safe. Downsides: the current decor is subpar; my shower screeched when in use; you could push the door open an inch without the use of the key (alarming!); and there are very few amenities: no fitness center, water or coffee in lobby, no safe, tissues, glasses, ice buckets or coffee makers in room, etc. This got the job done but it was definitely not fancy.

The entire location was dirty, stained and had awful odors. I left before even laying down on the bed.

I think overall it was a pleasant experience; maybe it's because I was there at a suitable time to visit. I only want to complain that no one is at the front counter, and you have to ring the bell to get help.

The place was disgusting. I was there an hour before grabbing my things and running. While eating my dinner I turned my back for a couple.

Awesome staff

Made a last minute decision to stay at this location. Pictures looked great. But inside was a whole different story. They said they were undergoing renovations so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Bathroom had no toilet paper and one towel. The standup shower had a cracked and peeling floor. And ilwhen you stepped by the drain it kind of dipped down. The WiFi was horrible. Couldn’t connect at all. There were two pillows as flat as a sheet of paper. No blanket or comforter on bed. Just a fleece throw. And the sheets were ripped in the corners. And the door to the room was slanted and had to use a kick or Mr rear end to push it closed. Overall very disappointing and only stayed because of limited options

Did not give my money back when I was told I couldn’t stay there for no reason
