Americas Best Value Inn Wenona

We are very dissatisfied with this location. Our disatisfaction started with the condition of the room; lights didn't work (had to plug them in), loose toilet, no linens, soap and shampoo so clogged it wouldn't come out. This became small in comparison when we started noticing bed bugs. We notified the front desk but received zero concern to the matter. Not only did we end up sleeping in our truck but we're out money for the laundry to wash as a precaution, nee pillow, blanket etc.

The rear entrance had a key/card security lock but the latch was broken so anyone can get in. And the room extra security lock on the door ( the chain lock) was broken. It appeared as it was forced open at some point

I had stayed at the Americas Best in International Falls, MN, and that one was really really good. This one was a step down, but still pretty good for the cost, honestly. Air conditioner was strong and kept my room cool, bed was comfortable enough to get a good sleep. There was a small area with a continental breakfast in the morning. If heading through here and Wenona is a decent halfway point (or your final destination), this will do for sure.

This Property had bed bugs. When I went to the front desk they were not surprised and told me to leave. They said they would give me a refund but I booked through Expedia so we will see what happens now.

Great location right off the interstate. Breakfast choices were limited but nice to have since no restaurant near by We'd stay again

Old outdated, room was not cleaned well. Stained towels and carpet. Chair frayed and worn. Not staying here again.

Nice bed and quiet. Only things I liked.

The waffle maker was covered with built up black pancake batter and had not been cleaned forever. There was dirt in the corners of the bathroom, debris behind the bedside tables, the toilet seat had been painted over many chips, the tv stopped working, the carpet was dirty, the sheets were stained. I paid $92 for a room worth $25. Drive to the next town.

Don't stay there total dump . Coffee pot in room didn't work. Absolutely nothing eatable at breakfast. Not even bread for toast. Did stay there in the past never again Awful awful awful. Don't have anything else to say. Bad bad bad.....🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

Experience was nothing exceptional but was clean & staff was friendly.
