Super 8 by Wyndham Fruita

Fruita Colorado. Super 8 by Wyndham. A/c vents were so clogged up with dust removed and cleaned , vent ahood in bathroom was hanging down ,no batteries in remote couldn't watch any TV. Was supposed to get my refund back of 30 plus and extra day back we didn't stay and they wouldn't refund our money instead wanting 130 more for damage to room , come on there were no damage to our room. we have stayed in many Super 8 were are VIP members and this one is only one whos ever mentioned damage. it's clear this is how they take your money and it's no fair. I will be going over and beyond the top of management to whom ever I have to in order to get my refund ! YOU CANT SCREAM DAMAGE TO ROOMS WHEN THEY WERE ALREADY THAT WAY WHEN WE GOT THERE CHECK YOUR ROOMS BETTER DIFFERENT STAFF REPORTS AND SOME DONT BUT THIS IS FAR RIDICULOUS. AND IM GOING TO LET EVERYONE KNOW . BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THEN SOME . R. Vaughn M Vaughn

By all means do not visit this hotel. I stayed from 5/5-5/7. The nightmare began on the night of 5/6 when a gentleman was given an access key to my room late that night. Wasn’t his fault the front desk booked him into my room. I checked my credit card and discovered several erroneous charges on my card on 5/6. I was assured the management would fix the issues. Returned home and found they had charged over a hundred dollars above what my invoice. I contacted the manager, he stated it’s a problem with my card and they were at fault.

Room was not clean when we checked in for a two night stay. We informed the front desk and they ensured us it would be cleaned at the next opportunity. It was not. We had to borrow a vacuum cleaner to get rid of the toenail clippings on the floor from the previous guest. I also had to wipe up an unknown white stain from the wall next to the bed and side table. Even if it had been properly cleaned, it desperately needs to be gutted. The carpet and all the caulk is disgusting, lighting and design are terrible, and the bathroom fan doesn't work. Overall, not where you want to spend your money.

For the price I’m extremely satisfied. Room was clean and spacious. Front desk clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great great location for dining options. The dragon treasure Chinese restaurant, one block away, was phenomenal. Very well priced. Super quick, hot and fresh. Just hoping for a reasonable breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Continental Breakfast is that for sure, but beyond that not bad

The hide a bed couch cushion stuffing coming out and has dirty sheets on it will not stay again

Probably the best Super 8 I've stayed at over 30 years. I didn't like the"deposit" for damages but they claim it is necessary because of abuses. It is supposed to be refunded automatically - hope so.

The place had a strong smell of detergent otherwise it was nice
