Quality Inn Cape Girardeau North

I walked up to get an extra towel and the worker was being rude to the kids trying to also get an extra towel. She walked off then a parent showed up and sent them away and was rude to the parent.

There were bugs in the room and around bed. Was told that there was early check in and then told me I couldn't check in for 2 more hours

The hospitality team members were warm and helpful. The amenities were a bit basic. When I asked for half-and-half to be added to the options on the coffee set-up, they explained that that chain did not allow them to offer that. The water in the pool looked an odd shade of green. We'd picked the place to share the pool with the grandchildren who lived in town, but were told that guests' guests were not allowed to use it. Since no one else was in the pool at the time, they did allow our two 5-year-old guests to stay, which was kind.

Bed was comfortable, but had a foundation sqeak. Pool was nice after a day of driving. Would stay again.

Room smells not good

The Ice machine was not working. The Coffee machine was not working, I had to exchange it with another one from the front desk.

While it's clear things are being changed, right now the property is horrible! Dirty, smelly, roaches, black water in the toilet, hair on the towels, stains on the bedding... the list goes on. We only stayed because of how late it was and how tired we were. I wish them the best but we won't be back.

Stayed one night. Was a quiet stay. Pool was clean. Room was clean and comfortable.
