Super 8 by Wyndham Kingsport /I-81

Old furniture. Needs to be updated. Pool was closed and not kept up.

Greeted by the owners who were very pleasant and accommodating. This is an older property but everything worked fine, the bed was comfortable and the room quiet. Tucked away location. Stayed overnight while attending races at Bristol and would stay again for that purpose.

Bathroom was dirty. Non smoking room smelled like a stale ash tray. Pillow case stained. Sheet had a rip in it. Worst hotel room I've stayed in!

Front desk person was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet enough enough, but has seen better days. It smelled of smoke, even though it was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. The bathroom was clean and well-supplied. One of the beds was uncomfortable. The "curb appeal" of the place was not at all inviting and a bit creepy. There was little or no landscaping and the parking lot was in disrepair. It looked as if it had been built into a cut-out hillside with no other businesses in sight. If I were in the area again I would probably look for something else. In the past, I've had good experiences with Super 8, but was disappointed in this one.

The service was ok , the room was dirty the sheets and bed clothing was filthy , will not stay there again.

Wish I had not prepaid with no refund available. If I had had the ability to levitate over the bed maybe it would have worked out. Mattress filthy, bug residue everywhere, mattress, sheets, drawers, floor, shower. Kept waking up feeling something crawling. Have bug bites. Furniture in major disrepair. I chose this one because there was some event in Bristol and everyone had raised their rates 50%, and had to make last minute plans. Do not cheap out. Get a room somewhere else.

I really liked our stay here. The guy at the front desk had his 2 daughters with him and they were all very nice. We only stayed here to sleep cause we were driving to Florida but if was a nice place to stay. I would stay here again.

Convenient location to Bristol Motor Speedway. In the process of renovation. Very nice staff. Room is clean. We did have to ask for towels because had none in our room, but they brought us fresh warm towels. Overall, great experience. I would stay here again for race weekend in Bristol.

We were passing through Kingsport and were looking for a basic hotel to catch a night's sleep before heading out the next morning. It took over a half hour to check in (there was only one person ahead of us in line). The desk attendant barely spoke English and had to call his daughters frequently to translate. There was only one towel in our room which was booked for two people. The property had a run down appearance. Do yourself a favor and take another option.
