Super 8 by Wyndham Kingsport /I-81

Drug heads live head full time. Crackheads walking around all hours of the night. Bugs in the room. Drug deals take place in back parking lot. It’s a motel more than a hotel.

Most staff were awesome poor management manager always talking about other residents cleaning staff and front desk staff were nice

I enjoy starting there. The people are always nice and willing to help you out .I stay there and time I need to.. the rooms need updated but are very clean and I have no issues at all.. Look forward to staying again.

I definitely don't recommend a stay at this hotel .Our rooms were not cleaned when we got there for check in so we went to eat for 2 hours came back and only one room was cleaned for us to put our luggage in so we could get to our event on time. When we got back from the event and got to our rooms to sleep we had dirty sheets on our beds we had no TV and one that didn't work in one room. both bath tubs had pubic hair in them and one tub had soap that looked like it had been in there for days and a used container of shampoo still in there. 2nd shift had to come in to scrub our room after the event because all hotels in the area were booked for the night.and we had no choice but to stay. then we woke up in the morning we found bed bugs and have pictures to prove it. we didnt stay our second night and drove 2 hours of our 6 hour trip home to stay in another hotel.

This is the worst motel stay I have had in quite awhile. The room is dirty. The sheets are dirty. It’s late at night and I can’t drive another mile so I will sleep in my clothes and get the heck out of here asap in the am. Do not recommend this dive

The staff was kind and pleasant. The rooms weren’t cleaned well, the bedding was stained, there are cockroaches, they didn’t stock bathrooms with toilet paper, and the tv remote didn’t work, neighbors were noisy.

Friendly staff but the rooms had roaches. Also when I got there the front I asked them if they had a room that was non-smoking and where I could see my truck and trailer on the first floor and the lady said no not on the first floor but on the third floor. So I had to carry all my stuff including a cat to the 3rd floor just to find out there were roaches and the room smelled like smoke. So I called the front desk and they magically had a room on the first floor that also had roaches but it at least it didn't smell like smoke. There was a big picture on the wall over the bed that was falling and there was mold growing in the coffee maker and the tv was broken.

No one availabel for an after 11 pm check in as she was off somewhere doing the hotels laundry. Roaches present and coming in and out of a hole in the floor/wall joint under the sink. I havephotos. Floors were filthy

I have never been so disappointed with hotels stays this trip. Never had any issues with them in the past. Super 8 Kingsport(1238 West Shipley Rd) August 26. No ice Machines working on whole property. When we asked they said it has been down for six weeks, Then she offered us ice out of lobby fridge. She licked her fingers to open plastic bag and used her fingers to dip out ice. Never so grossed out.

The only good thing I can say is the man who checked us in was polite. The rest was awful and deserves 0 STARS. We got there around 10pm EXHAUSTED from a long drive with a reservation for a King room. I waited to check in behind to men that were checking in front of me. After I checked in I went to the room and it didn't looked like it had been cleaned. There were towels on the floor, the bed was unmade. I go back to the front desk to advise him of this and he tells me it was clean at 4:30 when he checked it, someone may have got in there. He then tells me the hotel is sold out and the only room he has left is one with double beds. He also suggested two hotels back the direction I came that I could try. At this point I grudgingly agree to the last room since that was exactly what I was trying to avoid by booking in advance. We get up to the room it's short on towels and doesn't smell great but I guess we just need to sleep. I go back out to get the luggage and the two guys that checked in before me are walking back to the office and when I asked why they said their room was dirty too. Not only did our room have KFC take out containers left in the fridge there was a stinky KFC bucket in the microwave.SO GROSS! I took all the stuff outside (wearing gloves) and let the man on duty know about and get another set of towels since we were short a set. Also this room had an adjoining room door behind the dresser with the TV on in which I made sure was locked but needless to say the noise came right through and I was awoken at 5am to a bunch of talking. The breakfast was a joke , little debbie fudge rounds, apples and Wal-mart yogurt floating in a bowl of water NO THANKS! OH and the maid WALKED IN ON US while we were getting dressed, didn't knock either. The woman at the front desk in the morning was unsympathetic. THIS PLACE IS SKETCKY in my opinion and would NEVER stay here again.
