Super 8 by Wyndham Cleveland TX

Great stay

The place is pretty run down. Shelf was broken in the bathroom. The TV didn’t work. They use Kroger bags as trashbags

I don't even know where to begin. This was a business stay booked by my corporate office. I travel for business 3 weeks out of the month and am in a different hotel every week. This is the single worst experience I have ever had. They gave me a smaller room than my company paid for stating that they had to save certian rooms for their regular customers. I accepted that because I was very tired and just wanted to sleep. The manager/owner then proceeded to ask me what hours I would be working during my stay. I thought this was odd and didn't give a specific answer. Then she said due to the pandemic she wouldn't be cleaning rooms and to bring my towels to the front desk to exchange for clean ones. Also to set my trash outside my door for pickup. I agreed and had a detailed conversation with her about the fact that I absolutely did not want anyone going in my room. She agreed. As far as I could tell there were about 3 people staying there besides me. I left for work around 6:30 am and returned around 1 pm to relax during my lunch break. Upon entering my room it was obvious someone had been in there and the ac had been turned off. I turned it back on and sat down to relax in my then hot room. Within 2 minutes someone was again attempting to open my door. No knock or anything. I went to the door and told him not to open my door again. The front desk excuse was she forgot I didn't want my room cleaned. I promptly checked out and told them I didn't feel safe there.

Very nice hotel, convenient and friendly people. I usually stay at Super 8 in Cleveland, every time I come in town for work. They save same room for me and called it "TIM suits" I always feel welcomed and feel Homely. Great service & great rooms. Never disappointed with them.

Huge bed and so comfortable! Couldn’t have asked for better for the price.

Nothing unique about this stay. The room was not completely clean and the added lock for safety was broken off.

Pleasantly surprised with attention to details at this location. Outstanding service.

Hotel was close to the interstate, walmart, and restaurants.

Filthy room

I was working out of my normal area between Humble and Lukin, TX. This Super 8 seemed to stand out when checking hotels online in that whole area and I found out why. The property was clean and well maintained. Checking in was a very pleasant experience and offered a couple cold drinks to be left in my mini fridge. Management was even there to let me into my room when I was carrying my bags. The room was perfect and even got a courtesy call from the front desk. I did not go into the pool but it looked very inviting and clean. This place is on my must stay list next time I am in the area, even if I have to drive a little extra to get there. Its places like this that give Wyndham a good name.
