Super 8 by Wyndham Cleveland TX

Nice clean room with mini fridge microwave and coffee free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast swimming pool bed and pillows so comfortable I wanted to buy them. Conveniently located directly next to Walmart and McDonald’s and other business useful for travelers right off US 71 if you are going to Houston stay here instead staff all very friendly and helpful

The property has an extremely advantage, because it is located next to Walmart Supercenter in Cleveland, Texas. For several years since I have been in California; this is where I have resided when visiting my Family.

The front desk girl was super friendly. But the room was meh. Got a room with double beds. Each bed had 2 mismatched terrible quality (think worse than WalMart) pillows. There was only 2 small thin bath "towels" and 1 wash cloth. No hand towels. 1 shampoo and 1 soap for toiletries (not a make or break, but take some more realistic photos for your web ads). And yes, it's an older hotel, but maybe invest in lamps with extra plugs, because 1 GFI plug at the sink (which kept popping) is terrible for charging phones. And just overall the carpets need cleaned. For the quality of this hotel, it is definitely overpriced. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. We usually don't have a problem with Super 8s, but this one missed the mark.

Front desk personnel was rude and very unprofessional. Sheets were dirty and we asked in they can change them she said they didn’t do that for stayovers. Other guests were smoking weed in their rooms and you were able to smell it all over that floor.

For me location was great close to several eating places. Hotel was quite and very clean, the check in and services were excellent. I will stay there next time for sure.

Rooms were clean, but front desk was rude. Pool hours were only from 12 to 9, but they had already closed the pool for the night when we got there at 8:30 and wouldn’t be reopening it. Front desk made rude comments when I told him that was the only reason we booked a hotel was to swim.

My husband stayed here on a quick business trip, he said it was nice, just that the air did not get as cold as he likes, (I must say he likes it set at 60 - 65) he said the location was conveniently next to a walmart, and some fast food places. Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular (no eggs, meat, etc) but was more than those hotels who put out just fruit and muffins. He would stay there again.
