"Worst stay ever"

The worst stay I ever had would not recommend to anyone The room smelled Barnes and stains all over the floor bed very uncomfortable cooling system just made a lot of racket need a repair when I confronted the front desk they act like they just didn’t care that was maybe two other people at the hotel plenty a room they would not change rooms were not take care of nothing I just would not recommend this place and no one

Everything is very old. The metal on lamps was all rusty. It was just old and worn out. I pray the sheets were clean. It did look like it. The bedspread had a hole in it. The vent on the AC was trashy but it kept the room comfortable. I stayed because I needed a rest but left as early as possible. There were no more than 7 cars in the lot when I left early on Sunday. It needs to be closed or totally redone. It appears that some update has been done in the bathrooms and that was nice but the furniture was worn out and the carpet also.

The door wouldn’t even latch shut…. It had to be locked with bolt to keep door closed. NOT SAFE!!!! Lamps were rusted and didn’t work. Only outlet worked. No chargers for phone worked. NO WATER PRESSURE!!! This was an expensive piece of crap room!

"Last minute"

Great hotel. Last minute decision to stay the night. Hotel system was down due to the weather but night auditor came us. Very pleased left my credit card with them got it back in the morning when I checked out.

"Do not stay at this motel!!"

This property is misrepresented and I would not recommend it to anyone. We only booked there because they advertised a pool. When we arrived, the pool is disgusting and hasnt been taken care of in awhile. The motel should have updated the website that the pool in closed. We tried to get a refund and were told we could not. The room AC was turned off and it took 6 hours to cool off enough to tolerate it. We were also told there was a breakfast available, but when we when down to eat, it was apparent that we had been lied to. We also heard the clerk tell two other people that breakfast was at 6-9 the next morning. There were other issues with the room as well. This is one motel we will not ever stay at again and would hope that future travelers look at the reviews and avoid this one at all cost. The only thing accurate about their website is the statement that they are a "No Frills Motel"

The lady made us stay outside for almost a hour in the heat while waiting because it was to inconvenient to look for out reservation. I had to contact costumer service to get anything done. The room they put us in was hot and the ac didn't work the front desk told us to wait a couple of hours and if it was still hot then she would try to move us. We left. It was a waste of money

"Hotel to avoid"

Nasty place. Asked for no smoking room, they had me sign a paper stating I would not smoke. The room smelled of cigarettes and even had an ashtray. Safety chain was not on the door. Light over sink did not work and no toilet paper holder. TP was sitting on the edge of the bathtub

"Wyndham Super 8 let me down"

I am horrified about the experience I had at a hotel that Hotels.com offered or otherwise recommended. Checking in late after 9:00 pm, the reserved room (non-smoking) wasn't available. A smoking room was offered, and given the hour and the prepaid fee, i took the room. The air-conditioner in the room was broken: Control.knobs were missing and only refrigerated air on a cold night came through. Complaining to desk manager, I was told no other rooms were available and to call Hotels.com about refund. Hotels.com was unable to secure a refund, so I would be stuck with a room with no heat for the night. Adamant that this seemed not fair, and unhealthy, after further complaint the desk clerk "found" another room, but it would cost $25.02 more. With the lateness of hour and with no refund offered, I paid the additional money to have a room that would have heat. I make use of hotels frequently. I hate the thought that a less experienced traveler would be taken advantage of as it seems this hotel took advantage of me at a moment of need. I would like a response from Super 8 management about how the desk clerk handled this situation. Hotels.com provided compensation for their reserving a room that was not available, but Wyndham Super 8 forced $25.02 more out of me.
