Super 8 by Wyndham Tallulah LA

smelled of stale smoke, bathroom dirty, sheets NOT clean, took forever to check in, nothing was clean, couple traveling with us didn't even have sheets AND there toilet was not working afraid to walk on carpet with bare feet..put shoes on to walk

We went there for a funeral. There were no other options without having to drive from miles away. The room reeked of unwashed, stale body odor. The bathtub was so dirty and stained that we put bath towels down inside to stand on. The shower head had some type of brown calcification all over it and the water that came out was yellow. The remote had no batteries so we had to go talk into the frosted office window to ask for those. The carpet was nasty as were the stained bedspread. Never ever again. I will sleep in my car. Or just go to Vicksburg.

It was horrible and I feel that I need a refund.. they had to switch me to 3 different rooms. First room had a condom floating in the commode and it didn’t work. Towels where dirty and the air wouldn’t work. Then they sent me to the next room. Towels where dirty, air wouldn’t work nor did the direct tv. Third room towels where stained and dirty, but that was the last room they had.

I made an error and went to the wrong motel!! It was late, we were tired and we checked in at the Days Inn across from Super 8! They didn't have a reservation so I assumed Expedia made an error! I confused the 2 motels! Sadly I was charged for a stay at Super 8 because it was too late to cancel!

My stay @ Super 8 was very pleasant from the Front Desk Staff to the Cleaning Crew here. They’re very nice & helpful with anything I needed. Companies that have excellent service are very rare, if I were to ever pass thru again. I would definitely come back.

Hotels neefs a lot of renovation for the price they charge..They have no competition t here

Horrible just horrible I want a refund ASAP the room was half clean the lumps were rushed out the bathroom wasn’t clean at all the sheets on the bed had a bad smell too it the first night me and my wife had to sleep by my moms house

Reserved a room as part of my trip to Poverty Point. When I checked in Friday afternoon, the clerk at the front desk was a bit rude. I had to tell her twice that I was there to check in. Also, was informed they were NOT serving breakfast, due to covid 19. Also the room was below average. It looked a bit dated, with stains on the carpet. Not sure the bedding was clean, I did NOT get under the bed covers at all. The shower was good, though. When I returned to the room the following day, the bed had been made, and the room supposedly clean. However no fresh towels were left behind. A below average motel, in a barren area. I don't think I would stay here again.

Waited 1/2 hour in the heat and sun to check in at a window in the parking lot. Looked like a jail window. Front desk person was extremely rude to the person in front of us. And not that pleasant with us. We were so put off by the check in experience we never ended up staying.

The hotel was awful. The bed too covers were stained. The room was dusty spider webs on the lamp shades. The tub/shower was dirty. The water leaked all night. Moved to a different room the next day and the conditions were not much better. Agent refused to refund my money after he asked me to come back after 2pm. He was rude and argumentative. I was there for a funeral this didn’t make the situation any better. Do stay if you can find somewhere else. Pool was black no breakfast as adu.
