Check in required a room change twice but once settled, all was well

Shower in room didn’t work. Not much available for breakfast. At 8 am there were 2 danish left. Waffle batter was too thin to make solid waffle. Apples were extremely small. No coffee. Bedding worn with hole in blanket. 1st floor- bedroom window was unlocked. Not at all secure. No one at front desk to help. Left our receipts on desk to pick up.
USMy neighbor was loud so I called the front desk. They handled the situation kindly and quickly.

No elevator. Stairways were filthy.

Asked for 1 extra towel and never received it, the toilet seat was broken, the room door didn’t close completely on its own and the building smelled musty.
ZANewly refurbished and immaculately clean! Beds were extremely comfortable! 3 queen beds were perfect for our family. Loved our stopover. Warm shower with great water pressure. Woke up feeling refreshed! Breakfast was superb! Everything well stocked and clean! Our kids loved the freshly made waffles.
