Very clean and affordable!

Hotel was quiet and comfortable, beds were comfortable, rooms were pretty much renovated. Front desk staff was very customer oriented. Continental breakfast was adequate at best. As with most hotels the stairways needed to be cleaned such as vacuuming carpets etc. will most likely stay there again..

Check in was very quick & smooth. The room was hot when I entered & the air conditioner was on so I was big concerned. But shortly after arriving it cooled right off. Bedding not the fairly standard duvet & sheets but the old blanket & bedspread but all seemed clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean. Everything was in generally good condition.

Filthy. It was a room. Not the room we booked and paid for but a downgraded room because we had a pet with us which we stated at the time of booking. I’m not sure I’ve ever paid for something so filthy before. When I arrived to check in I was told I couldn’t have the king room we booked because I had to stay in “the pet room”. I asked about a refund for the difference in cost and was told no. Was given a room by the back door. It was hot and muggy with tons of door slamming. The room was filthy. The sheets were stained the blanket on the bed was more moth eaten than blanket. The floor was so filthy I didn’t want to let the dog walk on it. Nearly every surface was covered in pet hair from previous occupants. The room had clearly never seen a vacuum. The bathroom was slightly less visibly filthy. The area surrounding the toilet was disgusting. The hairdryer was caked with lint and filth. There isn’t a breakfast, just a room with some prepackaged stuff. Will never ever stay here again. Not suitable for any living creature.

The bedding really needs to be thrown out. Stains, holes, etc. it might have been clean but it didn’t look clean.

We usually spend a week every summer here while working at the golf tournament in Sylvania. This might be our last time at this property. It has seen much best days and needs work. During the week of our stay was the hottest days of the summer and every night upon returning it smelled musty and moldy in the room. The A/C wasn't taking moisture our the aur at all. The furniture and walls are showing a lot of wear. Check-in took nearly 20 minutes, and I was the only one checking in. The location is great, but we are going to look elsewhere in the future.

Just your average inexpensive hotel. Very simple breakfast offered. Staff was great. Moldy smell coming from the AC unit. Okay stay but nothing to write home about.
