Super 8 by Wyndham Mt. Pleasant TX

Ok, the Negative reviews are sad. Stayed 4 nights total in mt pleasant only 2 here. After my 2 nights here, wish my total stay was here. That was only reading spoiled ppl writing reviews because it wasn't the Ritz!! My 4 stars are for Miner things that the hotel can fix. Young lady at the front desk was Totally awesome, very professional and able to handle any situation put in front of her. House keeping don't linger, they knocked and gave any supplies needed and walked away. If you are a Caviar type, please stay away from here, this is the/us " peasants " secret!!

We had reserved a suite the Jacuzzi and Round bed, blue velour material (pictured on site) that had a radio/cassette player and one speaker was out and laying on headboard/ ceiling fan beat the ceiling acoustic onto the floor due to being way off balance/ ice machine didn't and looked as if it hadn't worked in a while or any of the nights we were there, asked the manager if it worked the first night and they said no, the last day while checking out i asked about it again and they again told me no so i asked them could they at least put a sign up so everyone didn't have to walk up to it to discover it didn't work, then we left and will no be back. "By Wyndham" i would be ashamed to put my name on that one.

This Super 8 was about what we expected, a convenient place to stop for the night on our trip. Our rating was "Good" based on all the criteria and the room and facilities were moderately clean. Breakfast was not worth eating, just some stale bagels for the most part. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

The ice machine didnt work.the vending machines were low. Pool didnt look clean. the staff was excellent. Very helpful.they were very nice.friday there was bananas saterday and sunday no fruit.

I think there were bed bugs - the next day and for 5-6 days afterwards I had a rash and itching on my right thigh. It was not kept up - holes in the wall from dorr knobs hitting. It was awful.

Good value for the price

The air conditioning in this unit was horrendous and noisy and even when I put my unit on fan only I could hear the next room's air conditioner. I will never stay at this hotel again. It was horrible.
