Highland Inn Peculiar

Was given a smoking room. Room was extruatingly hot and took numerous hours to cool down.

The hallway reeked of pot smoke and it filtered into the rooms. Although the hallways were dirty and unclean the room was fairly clean, the bathroom had a new tub shower unit and nice sink. The microwave and fridge were not clean. The beds were very hard and had ok bedding. The place doesn’t look like the picture, it has been newly painted different colors. The interior of the rooms were also newly painted it appears. I cannot recommend simply based on the smell of pot.

The property was very clean.

Convenient to interstate. Old furnishings, needs updates. Bed was too firm.

The owner/operator is very friendly and helpful.

I most certainly DID NOT STAY and COULD NOT STAY! This was surely not open to normal travelers. Lobby person had no teeth, at a daylight hour, no AC in lobby, person was very shabby. No cars or people there. I dont know if Lobby person was suppose to even be there Room was deplorable and items were broken smelled of urine. I have asked for money back as CANCELED

Property is showing its age

The staff was very nice. It's the only hotel around. The beds were outdated and the pillows were shorter than my disertation. But an OK place to stay for the price.
