Super 8 by Wyndham Central City

For the price point it was what I expected. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was good, and what I've come to expect from most hotels at this price range. Instant eggs, pre cooked sausage, and instant gravy. They do have waffles, which is my go to.

Breakfast was a little lower than average. The eggs had little flavor, even for instant eggs, and the gravy was very thick.

The location was convenient for the purpose of my trip. The staff was friendly.

I found fleas in my bed. When I asked them to change my bed they gave me fresh linen and asked if I wanted to change the bed myself. Which I did, because I needed to check for bed bugs. I was there for 3 nights and had to empty the trash myself. The pool was closed and the fitness room didn’t exist.

The location was good. It was clean

Room was very clean, had a nice desk and office chair, microwave and fridge included (fridge was super-cold and kept our sodas nice and cold which I loved), lamp and chair in the corner, room was spacious, great water pressure in shower (also adjustable), bathroom painted a very pleasant and calming blue color, room was modern-looking, staff was very kind, pleasant, and accommodating.

The only negative (for me) was the beds were very hard, and I woke up with a backache because I prefer a softer bed (a very firm mattress might not be a negative for some).

We booked online and upon arrival was told the pool was out of service, when we went to look at the room we discovered the sink in the room was infested with fruit flies and the sheets were stained. Unfortunately, due to these conditions I had to cancel and did not stay at the hotel.

Good place to stay.

Our stay was great until the front desk decided that they would come in to check the room bc something in the system was wrong and they thought that there was no one in the room. So, instead of just knocking on the door, someone tried to barge in. Luckily, we had the clasp lock in place so they couldnt get in the door. Then, at about 4am the fire alarm went off bc evadently someone was smoking in their room and set off the alarm. We did not sleep well at all bc of someone barging in our door and then hardly slept anymore bc of the fire alarm....ugh
