It was dirty the electricity was flickering and the furniture was falling apart

The staff

The location was the ONLY thing that we liked. Period. The property is lake front and has a lukewarm pool, the filters half worked... The crack pipe on the patio was a nice touch!

The First room was disgusting to put it mildly. The room was unkept as far as maintenance, i.e stains on the walls, holes in the walls, outlets with no faces/protective covers (electrocution risk), burn holes and rips in the linens and curtains, and very outdated. The cleanliness of the room was non-existent. We found human hair, and what we hoped to be pet hair in the linens, littering the bathroom (EW!), between the sheets, in, on, and around their "kitchenette" that was within the suite... Food, grass, and dirt caked in every corner along with a drug pipe on the patio table... We immediately asked if there was someone that could help and were told we could clean the room ourselves or move to a new room, we chose a new room. My interaction with the receptionist was not pleasant either. She was short, rude, and unpleasant. She was appalled that we were not happy with our original accommodations. The second room was clean-er....No coffee pot, a smoking hair-dryer, chat bubble stickers on the wall, and even more issues with the maintenance than of the room before... However, we had traveled 6 hours for a praise and worship event that would be taking place in less than an hour so we took the "suite" and got ready for the evening. We attended the event, which was AMAZING. However, the following morning we were preparing for Sunday services and I noticed a bug on my leg and it was biting me!! I brushed it off and after a closer look, realized it was a BED BUG! BED BUGS?! WE CHECKED EVERYTHING BEFORE UNPACKING CAR?! We were unable to have breakfast because we had to pack, launder, sterilize, and repack our entire car before church!!! And when I say "We", I mean myself, my 70 year old grandmother, and two children!!! One of which is special needs... I notified the office IMMEDIATELY!

The Hot tub was good

The main door has big cracks in it, the heat unit didn't work good, the shower door didn't wanna stay closed an the water wouldn't drain fast enough, the cable was poor

the manager was very helpful in assisting us in getting to the property. there's kind of a nice view of the waterway behind the property.

the room was not clean. the floor appeared unswept. the surfaces were very dusty. the walls had liquids spilled on them that had not been washed off. at least one of the beds had cigarette burns in the spread and blanket (not matching burns). at least one of the mattresses was very soft. we had to request bath towels from the manager, who promptly provided them. the clip on the cord from the phone to the receiver was broken. we could not open any of the dresser drawers besides the first one. one of the bed lamps didn't have a light bulb. the bolt lock did not work.

Very much quite and not a lot of traffic though the property
