Lake View Inn & Suites

The room is dirty, the walls are dirty, the bathroom is dirty, the towels had stains! Terrible! And there was no breakfast! I don't recommend this hotel to anyone

I got the presidential suit. It came with a large jacuzzi tub. The hot water faucet was broken. The TV was broken but I fixed it myself. The room smelled like cigarettes. It took me over half an hour to check in because Expedia and the property had a financial issue with each other. I was not impressed. I will not be back.

The family who runs this hotel are very friendly and kind and I can't compliment them enough. However, the property itself is a bit of a let-down. I rented the executive suite - the second most expensive room on the property - and it was in very poor repair. The tub was full of half-painted over chips and the shower was not secured to the wall. I couldn't use the jacuzzi tub because it was full of cracks and looked like I'd fall through. The mirrors were so smeared they were unusable. Also, I have to question how clean anything else was because i found used drug paraphernalia just lying on the floor behind one of the nightstands. In addition, at a hotel on a lake one would reasonably assume that the premium suite rooms would be the ones with the best view of the lake. That's not the case here. The suites are on the opposite side of the hotel from the lake. TL;DR - Amazing staff, but that doesn't make up for seedy overpriced rooms.

Room was poorly maintained and dirty.

The price is okay, but bring your own cleaning supplies like we did! My husband had to fix the light to make it work in one room, had to fix the air in another room. We had to clean the floors and when we was done the wash cloth we used was absolutely black!

The owner got mad at us, because we was booking online and paying online instead of walking up to the office and paying! Also you pay a $20 deposit online that's supposed to be refunded back, however you pay another $20 cash there, online it doesn't come back at all and if you aren't out of the rooms by 11am on the dot then you definitely aren't getting your deposit back. I spent close to $2,500 to stay there almost 2 weeks, and they were still rude! Also if you have a service animal, even me showing the registration for my dog, the registration number and online identification card they made us pay extra for her, but said if I had it printed he wouldn't charge, I went to print it brought it back to him, was still told I had to pay that it wasn't the right registration lol but it seems everyone else says it is! But if you want something cheap, and don't care about the conditions of the room, or roaches crawling everywhere in the rooms, dirty tubs, and the same bed clothes someone else used the night before then this is your spot!!!
