Travelodge by Wyndham Yampa

Numerous issues with our stay: 1. Keys did not work, had to get different set, still had trouble with new set. 2 Our room had not been vacuumed before arrival. Lots of "debris" all over the floor. Bed skirt was askew, draping way over on the floor on one side, revealing the mattress on the other as well as an extreme amount of dust under bed. 3.Tub running (could not be shut off) steady stream of hot water. Very noisy all night and what a waste!! Hallways were dirty as well. Overall condition of the hotel was very poor. Not happy with the amount I paid for this room! Disappointed in Travelodge by Wyndham.

I had a good experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Travelodge in Yampa.

I was greeted with friendliness and respect.

I didn't expect much from Travel Lodge but it could have been a bit cleaner. There was a "booger" like substance on the bathroom floor and an empty drink bottle left behind by someone that had the room before on the window sill and partially hidden from the curtains. The staff were friendly but a little less composed when there was an incident. The incident was a dog was left alone in a room and was constantly barking at around 10:30 pm. The phone in my room rang and when I answered it no one was on the other end so the phone did not work properly. I then called the front desk to report the dog barking and the person that answered said "Yeah, I tried to call you to see if that was your dog, so is that your dog barking?" ???? I'm not sure why he thought it was my dog if I was calling to report it. Again, he was probably frantic and frustrated and lost some composure, not the worst thing in the world. To their credit the incident was corrected about a half hour later.

Easy check In

We stayed for three nights. Each day when we returned, the key wouldn’t work. The office is in Penny’s cafe. And while the people working were nice, the hotel and room was very low class and dumpy. No drinking cups in the room. Had to go ask for cups from the restaurant. This is a hotel that caters to the rail road workers so very industrial feeling. Definitely not worth $220/ night hotel! Well stay in steamboat next time.

Very satisfy

Not much value. Had to ask for a simple glass so we could have a drink if water. Not even a coffee maker in the room. Probably not stay here again. Short drive to Kremmling better to stay there

Bed was too small for a couple

I showed up earlier than check in time. I told them I had been driving all night and had 3 little ones plus wife. They immediately check me in and gave us a room. I am forever grateful for the humanity. Because any where else they deflect moral humanity to company policy. These were real people who treated us more than fairly.... Thank you to the lady in the dinner and the cook.
