Kind staff nice rooms affordable prices

I was in Cheyenne to visit the Congressional Office of Harriet Hageman, so I needed to be alert and focused. This Super Eight enabled this by having s clean room, quiet surroundings by spacing other guests with empty rooms between, and at a very reasonable cost. BTW, the breakfast wasn't bad either!

Water coming out of tub faucet looked rusty. No way to switch to shower. Have had nice breakfasts at other Super 8s; had early appt. so thought there would be a yogurt or something hot to grab--had no time/interest in standing there watching bread toast. Just skipped it. Never saw anyone at front desk. Had a nice stay, in Oct, at one in Wheatland. Nice staff, room and breakfast. But this one may mean I will never stay in another one ever again. Took dog out at 2am. Woman was sleeping in car with out of state plates. Car was still there in am but woman had left. Didn't expect to find someone sleeping, in car, at a hotel. If we had booked more than 1 night I would have left. Will be returning to stay in Cheyenne--but NOT here.

This is 1 hotle that made sure me and my partners stay was just like home. Very friendly, willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rita is housekeeping and she made sure we had everything that was needed. I highly recommend if you're in Cheyenne WY, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

After driving over 500 miles we were eager to check into our room. Upon arriving, we discovered this hotel had no elevator as it was built in the mid 70s. We were located on the second floor and thankfully it was only seven steps up. So we lugged all our things up and settled in for a good nights sleep. My traveling partner pulled back the sheets to begin to settle into bed and thought he noticed a hair in sheets. He got out his flashlight, the room is very dim with little to no light, and discovered lo and behold yes there were several hairs. In addition the top sheet had a stain with a hair connected to it. I’ll leave it to your imagination as to what the source of that stain might have been. We went to the front desk and the manager on duty to complain. She said she couldn’t leave the front desk as she had guests that we’re checking in, but she immediately moved us to another room. My partner went to the other room before we moved all our things and pulled back the comforter and lo and behold yes there was more hair and a hair that was very curly in nature. We worked with hotels.com to get a refund, which I have yet to receive although it’s not been 24 hours yet, and moved to a different hotel. Additionally the floors were filthy and a couple of towels were dirty. Don’t stay here!

Clean room, friendly staff Cons: noisy

We spent one night here in a 1 Queen Bed, Mobility Accessible Room. (We don't have mobility issues though) The room was spacious and had a desk, an easy chair, a padded bench and also a mini-refrigerator. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the typical fare: waffles, cereal, breads. My one complaint here was that the road noise kept me awake for a while. We travel on I80 pretty much every Summer or Fall and typically stay in Kimball, Nebraska. This was our first time staying in Cheyenne, and I think I like Kimball better.

Friendly, helpful staff, dirty room, uncomfortable bed. Marginable breakfast.
