Baymont by Wyndham Findlay

We were kicked out due to our pup barking when we left for an hour to grab food. We explained we were not leaving the hotel for rest of night and wouldnt have any more issues with pup but he told us to get out because of pup barking.

We had a great experience at the Red Roof in Findlay, OH! Our 2 Labs were welcomed, and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay there again! 2 thumbs up!!

Check in was easy, hotel is convenient to a lot of food options. Room was clean. My issue was that you will hear everything - very little soundproofing. We had a children’s soccer team (I think it was?) that had several nearby rooms and they were running up and down the hall and shouting until late at night. Also could hear people in the room above us dropping things and moving around. Was hard to sleep, but the room itself was fine.

The room smelled musty with a hint of stale cigarette smoke. Beds were not comfortable. Our room was on the lower level, a stick was in place to secure the window. No blow dryer in the room.

The manager recognized me as a frequent guest and upgraded my room so that I wouldn't have to climb stairs. He was so friendly even remembering why I was staying there. Clean, quiet, comfortable and friendly staff-what more would I want?

I got a bad vibe from the night manager. He talked us into the 2 queens room. It was super small that the coat rack was not even useable. We should have taken the king bed that we booked.

The place felt like you rented the room by the hour. It felt very unsafe. Bags of what appeared to be trash was in the lobby. The guy at the front desk was trying to conduct a business deal to buy property rather than trying to help me check-in. Stay away.
