Baymont by Wyndham Durango

Breakfast was good overall. Good location

The room didn't meet my expectations for the price I paid. Not modern and a little dingy

Staff was nice. Food was good. Great price. Soap smelled great

Thought it was a little nicer. Remodel is over some real issues. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut without slamming and would get stuck trying to open. The floor was cracking. Didn’t seem the cleanest.

Property needs remodeling, room was ok bed was old and not comfortable bathroom seriously needed repair took 10 minutes of running the hot water before it warmed. A lot of wasted water.

Only 2 towels and the wash clothes were frazzled. Heater was very loud.

First room was unacceptable so they moved us to a different room that was just as bad. Overall both rooms smelled, weren’t clean, no bathroom light, desk chair was disgusting, mold in the bathroom, dirty toilet, unfinished paint on the walls and baseboards broken bathroom window, unsafe premises, both doors to the rooms were banged up. The room next to us had a broken window. The rooms did not look like what was on the hotel website. False advertisement! Management didn’t seem concerned about our complaints and very uncooperative in dealing with us and booking.com in getting us a complete refund. They are not being responsive! We did NOT stay at this hotel! We had to find another place to stay which set us back financially. Not to mention ruining our first day of our vacation.

Location along the main route was what brought us to this location. It had a lot of nearby shops for coffee and food within walking distance as well.

The staff was off putting, and did not speak with us. Almost as if we were bothering them by existing. Same was noticed at checkout too. I believe the location is managed by the third world, so it is maintained and treated like the third world. My 14 year old daughter was also followed by a couple of grown men to the room until I made contact with them. Durango is not what it once was.

Drywall ceiling in room had cutouts and water stains, baseboard was missing by door, flood cut drywall patch by door, paint was dirty, bed ruffles dirty with splotches of who knows what on them, drawers wouldn’t slide, very dumpy. Random trash strewn about the grounds. The property desperately needs renovation.

Hotel was not what I thought it would be. Very old. Messy parking area trash everywhere. Pol has not worked in years I was told. Will not stay here again
