Southernmost Beach Resort and Guesthouses

The room was a king overlooking ocean. The only problem we had is that it needed some work or a little TLC. The balcony chairs was too large for balcony and you couldn’t move them around the ceiling was peeling and had some water damage. Overall, the staff and the trip were awesome. I hope I have the names right, but the front desk staff I believe Annette and Sara did everything to make our stay pleasant. I would highly recommend. And agin if you have any issues while there, again the staff is awesome and very helpful.

Lovely stay, relaxing and comfortable. Particularly appreciate the kind and attentive care we received from Latoya and Xazona (hope I spelled that right), particularly during busy times, they both made us feel welcome and special.

Travel agent had messed up our booking but Latoya, Annette and Justin at the reception desk sorted us out and were amazing. Thank you the three of you. Nothing beats good service with a smile.

Latoya took very good care of us when staying at the Southern Most Beach Resort, at the Avalon. She got my wife a card and champagne for passing the bar. We had a couple of things come up that needed some extra attention and she was very quick to help resolve everything. Would recommend to go, solely based on how she took care of us alone.

We had a lovely time. The location in the rooms near the beach were worth the upgrade. Annette at the front desk was especially helpful.

I can’t say enough great things about the Southernmost Beach Resort! Not only was it clean, very well maintained and right on the ocean front. Its location was perfect, just steps away from Duval street. The resort was surrounded by multiple shops, restaurants, and activities perfect for our family. We traveled with our 2 year old and the resort was incredibly family friendly and convenient. With it having multiple restaurants, pools, and a private beach. There were days we didn’t even leave the resort. Our daily routine always included grabbing a fresh smoothie from the Beach Cafe before a long day at the beach or pool. The Shores pool was perfectly situated with incredible views overlooking the ocean. If you’re there, don’t miss ordering the burger! Overall the Southernmost Beach Resort was comfortable, convenient, and relaxing. We definitely recommend for a family with little one's and would stay there again!

My husband and I stayed at the resort from December 2-8,2025 and we had an amazing time. The room was beautiful and clean. The view of the sun rising from our balcony was magnificent. Relaxing around the pools and soaking up the sun on the beautiful pier was fantastic. Listening to music at the pools and playing some games with your activities director was super fun. The staff were friendly and always had a smile. We cannot wait to plan our next trip back to Key West and back to the Southernmost Point Resort.

This is the best resort ever! Lots of pools for different types of people! Our 20 something kids hung out at the pool that had a DJ and we went to the adult pool. We were especially well taken care of by Annette and Sarah.

I just dont even know where to start! We started going to Key West 7 years ago and stayed our first stay at southernmost 4 years ago and we wont stay anywhere else but here now! It is the best of the best of everything! Pools pools and more pools, private beach, restaurant, bars and the location is perfect! But I have to talk about the staff....my husband and myself are nothing special...I am a nurse and he works construction....we save for our week long getaway every year and this staff...everyone from the front desk, concierge, bartenders THE ENTIRE STAFF makes us all feel welcomed and important! We love it there and got home last night already missing our home away from home! See you next year! Thank SMR for helping us make another wonderful memory!
