Amazing positive and friendly

The staff were very welcoming and polite and friendly! Check in was smooth. Cleanliness was perfect. Room felt cozy and comfortable. Travel from Airport was great. The complementary Hydrotherapy was a good idea. The food and drink, not so great. Feels like the cocktail drinks weren’t good quality, at time felt like watered down. Overall feel was excellent. Just because of the food quality and cocktails, I’ll be cautious. Noise level around the spa area on some days could be annoying, generally coming from loud music.

Just returned yesterday for 7 day vacation. It was just ok not fabulous. We have stayed in dreams resort probably 5 times and this is not the dreams we are accustomed to . I’m not one to complain but it’s lacking so thought I would post . Rooms are dated , but kept clean . I was getting multiple bits for the first 3 nights and asked to have the bedding changed . No more bits 🤩. The bars only serve cheap alcohol. One day on for Cinco De Mayo they brought out Don Julio for a celebration. I don’t even drink but family members were disappointed in alcohol choices. One day I went to the buffet lunch late so very few people were even in the restaurant. I left my Rayban sunglasses on the table and left the restaurant forget them . 5 minutes later I ran back to see if they were still on the table . No one was sitting at the table and table was cleaned and remade . No glasses were found and they informed me to check with lost and found . I know this is totally my fault but nothing was ever turned in 😢. I personally will not return to this resort and not sure if I will return to dreams . Other guests stated resort has definitely changed in the hands of Hyatt. I’m not sure if that’s the case or just a individual resort experience. Forgot to mention overall staff was amazing 🤩

Dreams resort was alright. Nothing to write home about. The bed left my husband barely able to walk. I did ok. The food was ok. Again, nothing too exciting. We would pick another resort if we came back. Their drinks were ok. Their custard, not so much.

What a wonderful experience we had at Dreams Aventuras, Riviera Maya. The staff are amazing, very friendly. The food was awesome and the room was spacious and clean. The grounds are well kept. A shoutout to a couple of staff members that made our vacation very memorable !! Eric, you are a gentleman, enjoyed our conversations where ever we met. Daniel and Bradley at the Oceana, you guys rock, excellent service and very friendly, thank you. Paulina for helping me with booking our private dinner, a great experience, and Andre’s made our dinner very special thank you to both of you. Karen Martinez, wow, thank you for the birthday experience at the Seaside, very much appreciated. Last but not least Homero at Desires, Sir, you are very good at your job, incredible memory, accommodating, friendly and hard working!! Cheers to you Homero. Everything was very professional, enjoyed my time just like I would at home.

Everyone was so nice and friendly. Julieta was amazing with my wedding hair, makeup, and massage. Pedro served us to well. We really appreciate everyone! Marianna made our wedding go so smoothly. Karen the photographer was awesome. We had such a great time!

Back from a wonderful 7 day vacation at this amazing resort. 1st off its a small resort, not a lot of people, you get to know the guests if you choose to. You talk, you coo at the babies, smile at the littles and say hello when you see each other. That is a bonus in my opinion. The food is what you make it, if you want bacon ask for it, if you want chicken or pork for breakfast you can have that too! Lunch was great no matter where we ate, at the beach cafe, or the buffet. Supper was superb in all the restaurants we ate at. Oceana has some of the best salmon I have ever had. The meatballs at the Italian restaurant slice like a soft piece of bread, the way they should. The tomato pasta was lacking the same flavours we might use in Canada or the US but we are in Mexico, if the restaurant isn’t to your liking go to another one! If you want bacon everyday, buy preferred, its in the small lounge every day. Room service is amazing , pizza, club sandwich and the breakfast 😊. The swings by the beach are heavenly and the coffee in the coffee bar, you can get however you want, cold or hot. If they have lemon tarts, get them! The rooms are ok, beds are comfy pillows are great and the air conditioning worked. If noise from others might bother you, ask for a fan for some white noise, problem solved. The beach is manmade (I think), there are rocks placed so that the sargassum doesn’t come in but little fishes do. Its wonderful to see kids playing in the sand, using the paddle boards and kayaks. The staff at this resort are some of the best I have come across in my travels. They get the kids involved, even my mostly introverted 15 year old. There was so much to do we didn’t do any excursions, we enjoyed the resort, the people and the staff! If you have any questions and want to pm me, I will answer if I can.
