Best Western Chocolate Inn at the Park

Don’t overthink this one. You get what you pay for. Considering the proximity to Hershey park and the price per night, it was still a win. Although, the keycards don’t work well, the mattresses are subpar and the bathroom was not clean.

Free Breakfast was very good. Coffee too. Beds are supposed to be queens but they are fulls not queens. Exterior facade was renovated nicely. But interiors still need a lot of TLC. Noisy AC systems, worn out rugs, and filthy exterior windows were low points. Housekeeping doesn’t visit every day so you need to chase down your own towels from the front desk. Rugs in room needed to be vacuumed better too upon our arrival. You get what you pay for. Place is typically on the cheaper side unless there is a concert or sports tournament in town.

Property definitely needs upgrades. I was able to hear people in the hallway even getting ice. Not quiet at all. Room had spiders and sheets had stains

Request fix light. I have been gone all day Service technician fix light but he left door open When I come back, I check nothing been missing back this kind service is not acceptable Thanks

Was clean, tucked away but very close to Hershey park and restaurants. Staff helpful and attentive.

This was our favorite place to stay when visiting Hershey when the kids were little. The location is fantastic - just enough out of the way to be quiet, just close enough to be a hop, skip and jump from the park. The front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast crew are all still the nicest, friendliest people who really make you feel like you are at home away from home. Unfortunately for the rooms, though, time has really taken its toll, and a major refresh is overdue. Our rooms were clean, but there is only so much a cleaning can do to remove years of stains, I think. Upholstery and carpets were very worn and stained. The room locks are not functioning well anymore, and every time we tried to get in, it looks a minimum of 5 (sometimes 10 or more) tries. Staff even attempted to help us on more than one occasion, and had no better luck. We almost requested a room change, until we heard others complaining about the same issue, and we didn't want the inconvenience of changing rooms, only to have the same issue. The breakfast was fully stocked each morning with a nice variety of items. We were there almost a full week, and hot part of the breakfast was exactly the same every morning (scrambled eggs and sausage patties), so our only request would be to think about perhaps alternating every other day with something different. In any case, as I mentioned above, we really do like this place and, if they do the needed updates, would be more than happy to come back again.

This is a 10/10 for me ! Lovely quiet setting but super close to food , the park and stadium etc . Staff is friendly and amazing . Definitely rebooking again
